Stately Home Wedding Venues in Somerset

We can’t wait to get married at Brympton House next year. We were really keen not to have a ‘traditional’ wedding and Ellie has been great at explaining all the different options to us and making some great suggestions on what we could do. We have now created a bespoke and exciting day that we cannot wait to share with our guests. Brympton is a beautiful Manor House with lots of options. There are so many different spaces in Brympton you can use and we particularly fell in love with the lake, the various gardens and the lawn. We loved the outside areas so much we are going to have a lot of our wedding outside. Nothing is too much for the staff and they have gone out of their way to make sure we are happy. Nat from the Bacchus team has helped us to create a really exciting selection of drinks for our entire day. We are a little fussy regarding drinks, so his flexibility here has been great. Bring on our wedding next year - we are unbelievably excited!

We came across Prior Park while searching for wedding venues in Bath and fell in love with the venue at first viewing. The picturesque Portico steps, towered by the Corinthian columns and overlooking the Bath skyline and the National Trust owned Palladian Bridge, were a perfect setup for our summer outdoor wedding ceremony and reception and the scenery left our guests in awe. The ornate Academy Hall, with its intricate plasterwork panels and pilasters, three chandeliers, and large windows looking out into the scenery was a gorgeous set up for the wedding breakfast. Finally, the John Wood Chapel served as the venue for post-dinner festivities: cake cutting, followed by band and dancing. The Chapel, which serves as College’s music room has a large ornately decorated dome, which was a perfect area for the band setup. We were supported by James and team all through the planning stages and on the day. We were keen maximise the use of this beautiful venue on our wedding day and James was very accommodating with our ideas. For e.g the John Wood Chapel had previously never been used for in a wedding, but James helped us make it happen for our band and dancing. We’d highly recommend Prior Park College as a wedding venue. It truly is a gem!

We had our wedding here in January 2017 and it was absolutely glorious – our friends and family have not stopped talking about it since. The house is both magnificent and homely which is a really hard combination to find. I would highly recommend it for weddings, parties and even corporate meetings.

I had no idea until now that Clevedon Hall existed. It's an incredible Victorian mansion in stunning grounds really close to the town centre and sea front but totally hidden away. It has lots of interesting features and some brill places for photos. The staff are really friendly and enthusiastic. We felt really welcome. We booked on the spot!

Orchardleigh is the perfect fairy tale. There is nothing more perfect, you may pull your hair as they do seem disorgaized, but on the day it was excellent. The flowers i had were stunning and made the place looked wonderful. I went local for my flowers, dress etc as they new the house the best, even my florist was able to give me advice on what to do. I recommend Orchardleigh Estate, Perfect Day and Lesley''s Flower Shop

Very flexible, reasonably priced and beautifully located on the marketplace. Good banqueting space. I had my own reception here in 2000 and used my own caterers and DJ. Everything went perfectly..!
