We had the most perfect day at Stockwith Mill for our wedding a couple of weeks ago. Everything from start to finish was spot on. Kristi, Simon and Nichola all worked immensely hard to make sure we had the day of our lives, and we absolutely did. The venue is stunning, everything and more me and my partner could've wished for. We fell in love with it, the moment we pulled up in the car park for our viewing day and Kristi greeted us with a warm welcome and we instantly knew this was the one. Huge shoutout to Kristi too for keeping me cool, calm and collected on the big day, she was fabulous. Beautiful venue, beautiful people and beautiful memories. Thank you SM, you will forever hold a very special place in our hearts xxx

We recently had our wedding at this stunning venue and we couldn’t have been happier with our decision. From the first moment on site, we fell in love with the venue and there is nothing quite like it around. The owners and staff are incredibly friendly, and the service provided was exceptional.

On the day of the wedding, Kristi (the owner) and the team of staff truly went above and beyond to ensured everything was perfect and it all ran smoothly. It was truly an amazing day that we will cherish forever.

It had changed so much since we first booked it and kept getting newsletters and updates on it.
Kristi didn’t stop all day and even set up my cakes
for me before the wedding and then asked if we wanted them moved outside were we done the cake cutting and she moved and rearranged them all.
Had contact with the venue thought out the build up to the wedding and the support by email, phone and visits was very important and helpful.
Even packed up our wedding bits and put everythink away so when we came in the morning to collect it, it was all there and ready.
Stockwith went above and beyond and we are so happy that we chose the right and best venue for our day.

The day was perfect from start to finish 😊 they were all so friendly and helpful, we felt we could ask them any thing, it didn’t matter how small or large the request was they would accommodate where they could. Perfect location, perfect day, perfect team.

We fell in love with Stockwith Mill the first time we visited. Nichola and Kristi were both so inviting and the whole place had a lovely family focus around it. It didn’t feel corporate and the whole interaction felt very personalised and very easygoing. The team wanted to create a lovely experience for everyone instead of just taking your money and leaving you to it, which was so lovely to see. It’s clear that money is being reinvested into the place and it’s been lovely to see it change and develop since our first visit.

The venue itself was perfect for our wedding, we were lucky enough with the weather and getting married on the field was truly special. Many guests were discussing how nice the venue was and it had a lot of breakout areas for just relaxing and enjoying the scenery, as well as dancing, drinking etc. Our photographer was spoilt for choice with picking somewhere to take photos as they were a lovely mixture of everything.
We particularly enjoyed the marshmallows and fairy lights in the evening.

Kristi’s hard work on the day meant everything ran smoothly. If there were any issues on the day, these were clearly addressed quickly and quietly as we didn’t know if anything had ‘gone wrong’. The band was set up with no fuss and the room cleared quickly for the evening. Kristi managed guests amazingly.

For drinks there was a good choice available to all, we opted for the drinking package and then a few bottles on each table. There was plenty of choice and I particularly enjoyed my rose wine. We opted for one of the team's recommended wedding stylists and catering. These were great and the food was amazing, the sharing platter and paella were amazing both in looks and taste. We do however feel communicating with the caterer could have been better, but this isn’t a reflection on the venue at all and the food was incredibly delicious on the day.

Overall, we feel Stockwith Mill is an excellent choice for a smaller more intimate wedding, within an exclusive, peaceful venue. 5/5

Wow, what an absolute fantastic day. The amount of effort made by everyone was out of this world, from a galaxy far, far away!!!! (pun intended, 4th May wedding). I would highly reccommed this venue to anyone. You really wont be dissapointed. Well done to you all and thank you ever so much for making our day perfect.

Superb location and excellent value. The owners Kristi and Simon are excellent and very professional. They strive to ensure that the day is perfect. Props are not supplied by the venue but we used confetti sweethearts to style with our own props and an excellent job was done. The day was gorgeous with the sun shining giving excellent photographic opportunities within the picturesque Location. The sun shines at the front of the venue and so the terrace is a little colder as the evening draws in, this resulted in guests congregating on the front lawn whilst the entertainment was performing on the terrace. There is a fire pit for use which is fab but is set quite away from the stage and the terrace. Guests did enjoy toasting marshmallows in the fire though. Maybe patio heaters could be considered for the future.
Some of the ladies said that it was difficult walking in heels on the lawns and in the ceremony area and some changed shoes even before the wedding breakfast. The ceremony area is in Millers field and although this was different to what had been sold to us on our initial meeting, it looks glorious when dressed. Sadly, because there is no electric at the ceremony we found out the night before that one of our wishes couldn't be met. From where were waiting to make our way to the aisle the music couldn't be heard and so that made for a slight hiccup. This didn't dampen the day though. Maybe for future plans an electric hook up point could be looked at being installed should this become a common theme. We chose afternoon tea for our wedding breakfast and Kristi did an amazing job with some lovely touches and plenty of food. Our only regret here was we should have asked for the left over cakes to be boxed up!! All of our guests commented on the quality of the afternoon tea.
The bar has ample variety of drinks and coped with our numbers.
The toilets are excellent, clean and plenty of facilities but are rather dark, this was commented on by quite a few of our guests, and for those who are visually impaired it may be a problem.
The venue isn't really wheelchair friendly but the staff did all they could to ensure that this was made easy.
When the night darkens the woodland walk is lit gloriously with dappled lighting.
As the night drew to a close guests did say that the co-ordinator on the day was a little harsh, but they work tirelessly from early in the morning.
props, equipment and belongings have to be off site the next day by 11am.
It was a real pleasure to work with kristi and Simon. Sadly the wedding planner, Nichola wasn't available on the day and so there were a couple of items of the day that didn't go as planned but this didn't affect the day.

From the moment we met Simon and Kristi at a wedding fair we knew that we wanted to visit their venue. We had originally planned to marry abroad but after we decided to stay in the UK we knew we had to see what they had to offer. We were welcomed into their home with a cup of tea and an hours chat about the venue which at that point was unfinished. We saw their vision for it and knew we could put our trust in what they wanted to create and we were absolutely blown away on the day.

We had the wedding of our dreams at Stockwith mill back in July! From the moment we saw it, we knew it was the venue for us. The whole planning process was made for easy with the help of Nichola, and Kristi and Simon keep us up to date with all the goings on! The mill looked more stunning than we ever could’ve imagined on our wedding day and all the staff were so helpful and attentive. We had comments from numerous guests about what a gorgeous venue is was and how they’d never been to anywhere like it! It’s a day we’ll never forget and we’d recommended Stockwith Mill to anyone!

We honestly had the best experience booking our wedding at Stockwith Mill. Both myself and my now-husband (eeek!) said we wouldn't of changed a thing about the day. There was nothing that was too much trouble - highly recommend!

What a beautiful venue!
We married here on 3 August 2024 and the venue was perfect for our relaxed, intimate, countryside wedding.
Nestled in Hagworthingham the venue is isolated enough for privacy and the tranquility of nature but convenient for local suppliers and transport. We were able to provide some decor of our own and also used some trusted suppliers we met at the open days.
We were struggling when looking for venues with having 40 guests as we were either compromising on sharing space with other weddings/guests or we were concerned about the space being too large. Stockwith solved all of those worries with a cosy inside space for our wedding breakfast whilst having plenty of space for garden games, a fire pit and outdoor seating. The outside dance floor added an extra special touch to our first dance.
Showers adorned our wedding morning but a plan B was in place and a swift move to the barn area made our outdoor wedding a possibility.
Finally Kristi, Simon and Nichola were fantastic right from our initial enquiries, continuing through to the morning after. They supported our vision, helping it become a reality adding in their professional advice when asked. As someone who normally struggles to relinquish control, I felt completely confident and comfortable to sit back and enjoy the day. Kristi and the team ensured everything went smoothly and they went above and beyond with their attention to detail.
I cannot praise this venue enough and Stockwith is a truly magical place to start married life celebrating with your friends and family. We would highly recommend you visit so you can see the magic for yourselves.

The most beautiful venue with working water mill, the venue itself and surrounding is an idyllic summer dream.
The host were so accommodating and helped make our wedding dream come to life! Our guest said it was the best wedding they had ever been too. Highly recommend and can’t wait to see our wedding photos 😍

Stockwith Mill hosted our wedding day on the 19th August and it was everything we wanted and more. We were after a relaxed space in beautiful surroundings and stockwith definitely delivered! Nothing was too much trouble for Kristi and Simon who have so obviously put their heart and soul into stockwith mill and Nichola the wedding coordinator was also absolutely amazing at helping to bring everything together, in a way that worked for us. We were able to use a field for glamping and campervans and have a campfire as the night drew in. All of the staff were absolutely lovely and we had the most perfect day 🩷
