Couldn’t have been better!

The venue was stunning and was the perfect size for our numbers as they were reasonable small. They were so flexible and accommodating to us and helped us plan the day. Ruth and Suzanne took care of everything on the day so we didn’t have to worry about anything. The overnight accommodation on site as well was really helpful and so beautiful to stay in with a lovely breakfast basket provided in the morning!

Just amazing

This beautiful rustic barn was perfect for our small wedding. It’s the only venue we saw and we booked it straight away. We were well looked after all day and we can’t thank the team enough for helping to make our day so special.

Beautiful wedding at Stokes Farm Barn

We had the most wonderful wedding at Stokes Farm Barn. Suzanne and her team were an absolute dream to work with and we were so grateful for her knowledge and advice when planning our day. The barn is in the most beautiful, intimate setting and we particularly enjoyed the fact that it didn't feel like a commercial wedding venue.

We wish we could live our wedding day again and again!

We had the most amazing wedding and Stokes Farm Barn, there is not one thing we would change. The venue was amazing, as where the staff. A special thanks to Suzanne for all your support and for helping us make our day so special. Anyone looking to get married in a barn, this is a must see! The team were very accommodating to all our needs. The menu and food is also to die for!!! Thank you sooooooo much! x

The best venue!

What a day! We got married at Stokes Farm Barn in June 2019 and couldn’t have asked for a better day. The rustic barn is picture perfect in gorgeous grounds, on a free range chicken farm (delicious eggs and very happy hens). Right from the off, Suz, who runs the venue, was relaxed, friendly and helpful, planning the whole thing for us as well as making sure everything ran smoothly on the day. Suz was really flexible and we were able to plan our wedding as we wanted it, rather than there being any rigid rules that many venues have, which was key for us. We loved the planning and our families were always welcome to open days, tastings etc, and everything was so personal. The food was fantastic, and the upstairs bar is a great feature. We had so many comments from guests about how good the service and food were, and how much fun everyone had. I wish we could do it all again! Huge thanks to Suz and her team.

"A wonderful venue for our wedding. We wouldn't have changed a thing. Suz was brilliant. She worked so hard to make our day fantastic and we are so grateful. The food was the best I have had at a wedding and the bar was stocked with anything we asked for. I highly recommend Stokes Farm Barn for any event but especially a wedding. Great value for money too."

Thanks for making our day so special

Thanks for making our day so special. It went without a hitch and that was down to the work of you and your team. Food was incredible and so many of our guests commented on how delicious it was so please pass on compliments to the chef. We are at the airport now reflecting and keep smiling thinking back to how great it all was!

A relaxed environment with all the trimmings

We cannot thank Suzie and her team enough for an absolutely amazing wedding day. The barn was beautiful, the food was soooo delicious, must give a shout out to the chef and his team. The staff were super attentive and professional. The recommended Florist and DJ were a perfect fit for us. A relaxed environment with all the trimmings!

Chris and Elizabeths wedding was perfect

They both looked so naturally happy the whole day, it was wonderful.
The guests just loved the wedding. The feedback we got was really mega! “Best wedding ever” a frequent comment. So many said how relaxed the wedding was, that the setting was perfect, that the staff and DJ were fantastic, and that the food quality was way above anything they had had at a wedding before. Some even thought the canapés were the main meal (they then had a shock!). Best quote of the day was from one elderly gent who said “This is definitely the best wedding I have ever been to - and I can assure you, I have been to far too many!”
The day flowed seamlessly and I realise how much planning and organisation is needed to achieve that. You were so helpful with your friendly can-do professional attitude to get the day right.
Lynne and I wish to thank you so much for all you did to give Chris and Elizabeth the genuine perfect day, and for the rest of our lives we will be proud to say that our daughter Elizabeth got married at Stokes Farm Barn.

Absolute perfection

We spent a long time looking for a perfect venue for our wedding and we found it when we visited Stokes Farm Barn. Not only is the scenery varied and beautiful leading to some amazing photos but the service provided by Suz was fantastic. So many of our guests commented on how polite, attentive and helpful Suz and her team were, they really made the day perfect for us.

One of the biggest factors for us was the layout of the barn which allows for moving from one portion of the reception to the next without any clearing up getting in the way.

The in-house caterers were phenomenal as well. We opted for the BBQ and a hog roast for the evening meal, all of our guests enjoyed the food immensely, it was perfectly cooked and tasted great. There's nothing worse than underfeeding your guests and there was no chance of that here, the combination of quantity and the high quality of the food made the wedding meal perfect for us.

I can't fault anything about this venue or Suz and her team. The barn looks beautiful inside and out, we had great weather (which I'm sure Suz arranged personally) and she was incredibly accommodating of some of our stranger requests both on the run up to the wedding and on the day.

All in all, thank you Suz for your part in making our wedding day perfect.

Hands down the best wedding venue x x x

This is hands down the best venue in the Surrey/ Berkshire/ Hampshire area.

We vetted over 20 venues eventually settling on Stokes Farm Barn and we are so glad we did!

From pre wedding meetings to incredible service on the day Suzanne and her team were excellent.

The venue is a perfect setting for a special day and we will remember it for a long time to come.

Stunning location, great for a chilled out wedding

Stokes Farm Barn should be no.1 on your wedding venue list in Wokingham!

Location: Easy to get to from local churches, hotels etc. but also hidden enough that you feel like you're somewhere completely different and away from everyday life. It is a beautifully landscaped area around the barn, lovely little lake, enough space for children to run around and have fun and a great space for photos.

The barn: Absolutely stunning with and without decorations! A good size for a big wedding, and nice to have the four areas for people to be in (the bar, the main barn for dancing, the lower barn and outside). We had several older guests there who didn't want to be sat in the dance area all night, so having the lower barn to sit in was good for them!

The bar: Such a cute area and very well stocked. We had been pre-warned that the card machine signal wasn't great, so guests knew to bring cash. We were also chuffed that our request to buy in Newcastle Brown for my northern Dad and Uncle was taken on board.

Suzanne and Erik: They were both helpful in making our day fun and relaxed. Suzanne had pre-warned us that she could unfortunately not be there on our wedding day but left us in the capable hands of Erik who helped the day run smoothly. The venue options that we could choose from were clear, and although Suzanne works elsewhere for the winter months, we still heard from here in reasonable time to continue arranging our day.

Overall: We are so pleased we went with Stokes Farm Barn! We and our guests loved the venue!

The most perfect day!

My parents found Stokes farm barn and what a find it was. From the beginning it was such a lovely easy process, Suzanne was so helpful and really allowed me to do most things that I wanted, which for a control freak bride like me was perfect! We were able to get into the venue a few days before so we could get everything set up perfectly and on the day itself Suzanne was on hand all day ensuring everything went down exactly as we wanted it to. The location is also so beautiful and we got some fantastic photos. I have had people tell me since it was one of the best wedding they went to and I really think it was down to how well the day ran. Suzanne knows her venue and is great at recommending the best options but not pushy at all. We couldn't have done that without Suzanne and stokes farm barn. It will always hold the most special memories for us and I would recommend anyone wanting to get married in a rustic barn location to go for Stokes farm barn.
