Our wedding was a fairy tale that came true. The venue was absolutely stunning. Just as we had imagined and we have been dreaming for this day for 15 years. Our wedding team Val and Jo did outstanding making every little detail come together. They went above and beyond while planning for the wedding and especially on the wedding day. We were able to relax and enjoy our self with the guests as they made sure they had everything in hand and ran smoothly. We could take everything in which was incredible. The food was delicious 😋 every guests cleared the plates and had no room for cake. Anthony has been a rock throughout the whole process was always available. If it wasn't for him our dream of the perfect wedding wouldn't of come a reality. The barn was so perfect in every way. I honestly was a princess with my prince charming for our special day. The after-party was a real life celebration. We danced until we couldn't feel our feet. The music was so good and made the best atmosphere. We are so glad we went with Tudor barn. They really do make dreams come true.

From start to finish, Sarah, Hayley and the team were supportive, accommodating, patient, kind, and knowledgable making sure that our wedding day was perfect. After visiting The Old School and meeting with Sarah, we were certain that we wanted to use this venue for our special day and booked our wedding that very afternoon. Whenever we had questions they were answered quickly and completely and we were never made to feel like we were asking too much or bothering anyone. Sarah and the team were receptive to all our ideas- and there were a lot of non traditional elements to our day- and helped us find ways to make them work. We were able to tailor the whole day to be exactly what we wanted and the team at The Old School made it so that everything went perfectly. The day before the wedding, we arrived to decorate and the staff helped us with the big changes, like switching out the curtains. Sarah handed over all the information to us, showed us how to use safety equipment and lock up the building before giving us the keys for us to finish. Before they left they asked us to set up a table for the meal so they could take photos and make sure that changing the room from ceremony to meal would go smoothly and look the way we wanted it to. We set up the chairs (which were easy to set up and put away), the sound system, the decorations, and final touches. I (the bride) stayed in the guesthouse on site with my bridal party that night and it was fabulous. The guesthouse has so much character and plenty of space and natural light to get ready in the morning. In the morning, Sarah organised the registrars and my husband to make sure the ceremony started in the right way. After the ceremony, the team made sure the prosecco and non alcoholic drinks we had provided were served for our guests while they changed the hall from ceremony to meal. We opted to have afternoon tea catered by The Old School and it was incredible! All our guests raved about it, especially the sausage rolls! We honestly couldn't have asked for a better team to help us realise our perfect day. They made sure it all went perfectly and the whole experience was stress free. We highly recommend The Old School for weddings and other events, and we will be coming back to celebrate big events here in the future.

We got married here at the end of the pandemic and throughout the process the hotel were flexible, supportive and did everything we asked and more to make our wedding the best experience ever. We were in contact with Louise who was the events coordinator at the time (don’t know if she still is) and she was incredible. The hotel were really approachable and our decorators, photographer etc all said how well they communicated and how friendly everyone was. We had a sit down meal and 2 years on people still say the food was the best they’ve had at weddings. We couldn’t have asked for a better time.

I honestly can't praise the team enough. Our daughter's wedding was delivered absolutely perfectly. The setting, the decor, service and food were all outstanding. Our guests were really impressed also and so many reached out to us to say how impressed they were! Very well done!

We recently got married at Notley Tythe Barn and it was just perfect. The teams were brilliant from start to finish. We only had our ceremony there and it didn't feel rushed, there wasn't any stress and it just looks stunning in our wedding photo's. From the first visit i know this was the barn i wanted to get married in.

Myself and my wife had our wedding reception at Delta Milton Keynes, 4th June 2022. It was a dream day for us, everything went to plan This was down to in no small part to the brilliant planning, client management and 1st class delivery of Charlie Smith and her team over an eighteen month period. The pandemic provided several issues particularly with communication, furlough availability and hotel accessibility, but I have to say she managed everything in an unbelievably professional way. Her ability to understand and deliver according to our needs was exceptional, helped along by a high level of emotional intelligence. Since the event, we have had to communicate the with the hotel for one or two other related reasons. Although the job was done so to speak, Charlie still reacted in a thoroughly professional manner as if we were still active clients, something we have both found to be highly impressive. As for the venue, that also matched our expectations. The room was very well situated and backed up by suitable breakout areas around the hotel where our guests could retreat to talk, drink, smoke or just have a break from the music if they wanted. Hotel staff were always available when needed, but not noticeable when not, which is how anyone would want their day. Catering was spectacular and appreciated by all, but strongly recommend that you wear loose fitting clothes to the menu tasting as everything presenting needs finishing! I could go on and on, but overall would say that we were spectacularly satisfied with our choice!

We have just hosted our 20th Wedding Anniversary - Great location, amazing venue, ambiance was heartwarming, attentive support staff, great communication prior during and post the event, brilliant facilities, sleeping accommodation is as sweet and comfortable as ever. I’d recommend Winters Tale Country Barn to anyone thinking of having a similar event. Most likely to be our future events venue.

We had our wedding at Lavender Field last summer and the whole experience was delightful from start to finish. Organising it with the owner was totally stress free and we had exactly what we wanted on the day. The day couldn't have gone any better for my husband and I, or for our guests. The view as expected was stunning and we were blessed with a beautiful sunset in the evening with views over Bourne End and beyond. I'd thoroughly recommend the location to anyone looking for a venue for a wedding or party in the area.
