We had our wedding July this year with Charlotte as our wedding co-ordinator. From the minute we saw the venue and met the staff we knew this was the venue we wanted for our wedding. The venue is gorgeous and has the most beautiful grounds also. The whole process from first visiting to the day of our wedding was so relaxed. Communication is 100% and the staff are very flexible in making sure the day suits your wishes. We could not have wished for a better wedding co-ordinator than Charlotte, and all our family and friends commented on how amazing she was. Charlotte did not miss anything, and we couldn't have imagined the day running as smoothly without her! Nothing was too much and we are forever grateful. The whole venue has such a warm and family friendly atmosphere (even for dogs!). Thank you for giving us the wedding we dreamed of! X

Where to begin.....

Myself & my partner don't live locally to Bicester/Stratton Court Barn and had stumbled across the venue online, after we had visited numerous venues in our local area, which didn't tick our box.

From the first initial contact, we knew Stratton Court Barn was the wedding venue for us.

The staff were friendly, efficient, thorough and really took the time to get to know us before our big day, no question is silly and no request too big. Charlotte was our wedding coordinator and was truly incredible, we cannot say enough nice things about her and our day really wouldn't have been as good as it was without her looking after us all.

The venue (both the buildings and the grounds) are truly breath-taking and clearly so well maintained. We wanted to make the most of the venue and both myself & my now husband got ready at the venue in the morning (in the stables and the granary cottage) and we would highly recommend this as the celebrations start early and with complete ease.

We absolutely loved that our dog could be part of our day too!

Our guests on our wedding day couldn't say enough nice things about the whole day and we could go on to say more but we just wanted to say a HUGE thank you for giving us the wedding of our dreams, we just wish we could do it all again!

We had the most perfect day at Stratton Court Barn celebrating our wedding. It was the most magical day! We got ready there in the morning and we were looked after so well by the venue staff for the whole day. The bar was brilliant and our wedding co-ordinator, Zoe, was beyond perfect. She made everything happen behind the scenes, ensured everything ran to time and was generally a wonderful presence throughout our day. Everything flowed like a clockwork and we were supported through each and every moment of our day. We loved every minute of our wedding in such a beautiful venue with such a lovely team. Thank you so much for making our wedding day more than we could have ever hoped for!

An amazing day, Charlotte & the team made it absolutely made it a day to remember. Honestly we can hands down say it was the best day of our lives! From the perfect venue to the perfect support and seamless coordination of the day made it everything.

Got married at Stratton Court Barn on 12th October 2024. We were looking for dog-friendly venues and this came up; it was the first venue we visited and my now wife knew it was the one pretty much immediately. Our dog was only 4 months at the time and got a lot of fuss from all the staff so didn't take much persuading!
In the two years between securing the venue and having the wedding we ended up talking to a few different people about our needs but they were all extremely helpful and patient with all our questions, and seemed just as excited as us about our big day. They have lots of recommendations on catering, flowers, decorations, cakes, accommodation, etc, so you don't feel like you're having to do all your research yourself. They were also very accommodating with changes being made up to a week before and always with a smile.
The venue itself is beautiful and has plenty of space inside as well as a lot of grounds around it that make for lovely photos, especially the lake around the back (see photos). The Byre wasn't originally there when we booked but we were allowed to use it anyway without additional charge, which was great as it's a wonderful space; we used it just for the wedding breakfast but it would be great as the main ceremony room as well.
Charlotte was our co-ordinator on the day and she was an absolute star, the whole day ran very smoothly and it was very much down to her; we actually had two additional guests show up unannounced and she dealt with it amazingly, ensuring they had space at a table and got some food. We got so many compliments and asked where we found her, with a lot of people surprised she just came with the venue! Also the folks on the bar were a laugh, and put up with guests antics with good humour.
I would definitely recommend Stratton Court Barn, it's an amazing venue with people that just make things easy for you. My wife was absolutely over the moon with the whole day, of course I was too :)

My husband and I had our wedding on 30th August 2024. Charlotte was absolutely incredible at making sure everything went so smoothly on our big day. She answered any questions I had in the lead up and went above and beyond to make our day as magical as it was (even moving our final planning meeting forward as I was very heavily pregnant)! As I was only 5 weeks postpartum on our big day and had the worst baby brain, I was worried that my husband and I had bitten off more than we could chew. But with the team at Stratton Court Barn being 100% on the ball, all of our friends and family commented on how perfect the day was and how they couldn’t believe we pulled off having a baby and the perfect wedding day!! But I can’t take credit for the amazing running of the wedding day because that was all Charlotte, so thank you for looking after us so well! The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous and the photo opportunities are endless with gorgeous grounds and back drops, every which way you look! We honestly don’t think that anything could have gone any better than it did! The PERFECT wedding day, and that’s all thanks to Charlotte and Stratton Court Barn! Thank you!

Stratton Court Barn is an outstanding venue for a wedding. We had ours in early August and it was absolutely fantastic. The attention to detail in making the venue look clean and well-polished is incredible. Charlotte was absolutely fantastic in helping us to prepare before the wedding and also during the day to ensure things ran smoothly. She's a real asset to Stratton Court Barn.

We would highly recommend to any couples looking for a wedding venue.

What can I say, just WOW.
Our wedding on Saturday, the 14th, was everything we had dreamed of. Gemma, what an absolute star you were. Nothing was too much trouble, everything was so calm and ran like clockwork. Everyone who came to our wedding commented on what a stunning venue Stratton Court Barn is. To the entire team at Stratton Court, especially Gemma, a big, massive THANK YOU.

Stratton court barn is the most beautiful place to get married. They really think about every tiny detail from getting ready in the morning to staying at the amazing cottage over night. Our wedding co-ordinator Charlotte helped to make sure the day ran smoothly from start to finish and really went the extra mile to make sure everything was just how we wanted it. The most magical day in the world!

We booked Stratton Court Barn in November 2021 and had our wonderful wedding there on 7 October 2023.

From the first visit we knew it was the perfect venue! We were looking for a barn venue that felt intimate, beautiful, relaxed and warm and it ticked all these boxes and more. Karin was there from day one up until our actual day (and after lol), answering all our questions, giving ideas, solving any problems before we even knew they had happened. We were so impressed how super organised she is but also how she really cared. We hadn't felt this from the other venues we had visited.

I could honestly talk all day about how amazing this venue is and still not do it justice, but some of the things that really stood out for us were;
- Karin is the USP, she honestly will look after you from day one and always be there to help
- All the staff were very friendly, professional and helpful, we didn't have to worry about anything before or on the day. They knew exactly what to do and when
- The beauty of the whole venue, there are so many places for guests to relax and enjoy and also photo opportunities. There is the courtyard, rose garden, field, lake, cottage. There is something to meet everyone's wishes
- The fact you can have the venue all day to yourselves with your wedding party
- How they catered for our rescue dog to be involved and allowed us to visit before so she wouldn't be so anxious on the day. This also was what helped us know it was the venue for us
- They work with your suppliers to make sure everything runs effortlessly before and on the day
- We hired the fire pit and lawn games which were fun for all the guests and gave it that cozy feel, like a family party
- The cottage is wonderful to stay the night and was the perfect way to end our perfect day. We sat talking for hours after feeling very relaxed and at home. Breakfast was also amazing!
- How easily accessible it is, we had guests from North and South and everyone came. Lots of free parking and local hotels to stay in. Advice on prebooking taxis from Karin was also very helpful so all guests got home safely
- We went to nearly every open day before the wedding as this helped us plan and make everything real. We could try menus, plan decor, seating etc and also we met quite a few of our suppliers either at the open day or found them through SCB Instagram. They have wonderful relationships with everyone who works with them that makes planning so much easier!
- Finally all our guests commented on how perfect a venue it was and what a wonderful time they had

As soon as we picked our venue everything else seem to fall in place and that was largely due to SCB, especially Karin. Thank you to everyone who works there for caring so much about making the day perfect, we couldn't have done it without you and wouldn't have picked anywhere else. It was a day we will never forget :)

Where do we even start?

This venue was beyond our wildest dreams. It had everything you need for a perfect wedding day, and our guests couldn’t believe its beauty.

Karin is without a shadow of a doubt incredible, she answers every single little question, knowing the answer straight away. Her love for the venue makes you want to get married there and then, every open day is flawless and she has the nicest way with people.

Jess was our wedding manager for our perfect day, and it wouldn’t have been perfect without her. Jess went above and beyond the entire day, she fluffed my dress, pinned my dress, set up our decorations better than I ever thought, seamlessly went from ceremony to wedding breakfast without even knowing she was doing it, played with my son, looked out for my son repeatedly (and made friends with him!!) and was my guardian angel all day. Nothing was too much for her, she guided me the whole day, made sure my guests were happy, the list is endless. I will forever be grateful for Jess, for making our day absolutely beautiful and special.

I can’t rave them enough, if you are thinking of booking them, do it. The pair are absolutely amazing and they make the venue even more special.

Thank you to you both, we had the most perfect day and it wouldn’t have been that way without either of you.

No words can describe how beautiful and perfect this venue is. Karin the wedding manager is a literal queen at the venue, the most organised person you will ever meet, Karin was quick to reply to any questions I had and nothing was too much trouble. She is the perfect person to help plan a wedding!
The venue is something else, from the fairy lights, to the cottage feel, makes this venue ideal for someone wanting a barn wedding with a vintagey/boho vibe. And an added bonus is the venue is dog friendly!! It was everything we wanted and more!!!
