Swallows Oast is a wedding venue located on Gibbs Reed Farm in Ticehurst, East Sussex. The traditional character and unique charm of this beautiful 1830s venue have made it a highly sought-after banqueting hall for more than 20 years.
Facilities and Capacity
Swallows Oast’s main hall comfortably seats 130 guests. Its beautiful oak-beamed ceiling and traditional minstrels’ gallery make it a perfect setting for an intimate and romantic wedding celebration. The Swallows Pavilion is an excellent alternative if you prefer an outdoor ceremony, It’s also a lovely spot for an evening meal or a relaxed barbeque. The Oast and Pavilion are licensed to hold civil ceremonies. If you require additional room for your arrival drinks or reception, you are welcome to use the venue’s spacious marquee. It comes with flooring, champagne lining, chandeliers, and orangery windows. Swallows Oast also has a wedding suite and makeup room for your comfort and convenience. While you’re at Swallows Oast, don’t forget to explore Swallows Trail, which leads through the woods to a magnificent little spot beyond with the countryside stretched out before you to meet the horizon.
