We recently got married at Swynford manor on the 3rd of March and had the most amazing wedding day!!! Originally from Essex but now live in Ireland I saw this venue and was 100% certain this was the place I was going to get married!! From the start the whole process was smooth sailing. Our meetings with Matt our wedding coordinator were very helpful. Excellent communication via WhatsApp and then emails with Matt! The day itself was just PERFECTION!!! Matt cracked on and without even asking he knew where to be putting stuff and what would look good where etc. he was amazing. I loved having Matt as our coordinator he’s a credit to Swynford! When looking for wedding venues, Swynford Manor was the first once we came to look at. When I showed my new husband it online, he wasn't sure, but the moment we pulled up down the sweeping driveway we fell in love. The second time we came back to view reassured us that it was the place for us, as when we walked out we just couldn't wait to share it with our family.

Every staff member we dealt with from the moment we first made contact was excellent. They always had time to answer our questions, no matter how small or complicated. They accommodated for our menu requests regarding allergies, fussy eaters, and my favourite dessert only being on the child's menu (which they still gladly made for me adult portion sized!)

Our originally allocated wedding coordinator left in a hurry just a few weeks before our wedding which, naturally, panicked me a little. However Lorna stepped straight in and did a great job. She made the effort to speak with us beforehand to clarify everything and ensure we were all on the same page. On the day she was wonderful at being there at the exact moment whenever we needed her. The whole team on the wedding day were also great - the service was excellent. The food was delicious; every single guest commented on how nice it was. The evening food must have also been excellent as my husband went back for more 3 times (didn't give any to me though unfortunately!).

The rooms were stunning too. We got to use the newly refurbished prep room not long after it was done, which was a lovely surprise and even the make up and hair artists commented on how nice it was. The honeymoon suite has excellent lighting for the dress photos and reveals. The beds were so comfortable part of me wishes we could have had more time in the room to enioy it. It was hot the day of our wedding too so the aircon throughout was greatly appreciated.

I stayed in the lodge with my bridal party the night before. Sadly, I didn't get the best night's sleep - a mixture of nerves, excitement and an unfamiliar bed for me - but my bridal party said they got a great night's sleep. It is a lovely little place to spend the night before with your select few, and also means you don't need to travel far to start getting ready.

The breakfast the day after the wedding was tasty and just what we needed. And even after that day, the staff were great when we had a few forgotten items. When I came back in to collect them, they made the effort to say congratulations again and ask how life was settling down etc.

We definitely want to come back for Christmas and charity events to experience the fantastic venue over and over again.

Once again, a huge thank you to everyone who we dealt with and all the staff who helped make our wedding day run so perfectly.

The thing that first drew us to Swynford Manor was the staff, who seemed so professional and efficient when we first looked round the venue. We definitely made the right decision! Our wedding was everything we’d hoped for and more. Matthew in particular is a real asset to the venue, directing our entire day and making us feel like we could ask him anything. The food was amazing too and all our guests commented on what a beautiful venue it is. Would highly recommend!

Alex & I got married at Swynford Manor on Easter Saturday. We had the most amazing day and Matthew (our co-ordinator for the day) was incredible. From our final planning meeting to the wedding day we fully trusted Matthew and everyone at Swynford, they understood our vision and it was a seamless operation. There were a few problems in the morning with getting access to the additional bedroom, but Matthew handled the situation very well and we were completely on time regardless. He was exactly the person you want around on the morning of your wedding, we were both able to enjoy ourselves and not worry about anything because we knew Matthew had it under control. We had a big wedding so our ceremony was in the Garden Room instead of The Study which meant a big changeover from Ceremony to Meal, the whole Swynford team did an amazing job along with our suppliers, it was beautiful. We were fortunate enough to have some sunshine so the outdoor area was open which was really lovely because the outside area is beautiful, especially with the new Pergola. All of our guests were impressed with the food, and as foodies ourselves we were very happy. It was great to have the tasting evening beforehand, especially because you get an idea of how Swynford will deliver a dinner for a large amount of guests rather than sitting down just the two of us in a restaurant. We added on the cocktail our which we would definitely recommend, our guests LOVED it and it was more special to us that offering a free bar. The bridal suite had also changed from when we first booked the venue to when we got married but we preferred it to the original, less stairs to climb! And the beds were so so comfortable, it was difficult to wake up the next day.

We honestly just had the best, stress free day. Couldn't recommend it enough.

Everything ran smoothly and we did not have to worry about anything throughout the day as the team at Swynford dealt with it all! We had our wedding day in August at Swynford Manor. It was the most magical day, we couldn't have picked a better venue. We really liked the modern vibes of the venue. The food and staff were great, our only wish is that we could relive the day again!

We instantly fell in love with Swynford Manor as soon as we saw it. It was the perfect venue that we had always dreamt of. The whole venue is beautiful.

All of the staff at Swynford were approachable, friendly and clearly love what they do.
No wedding is without its small things that go wrong but Swynford handled those things so well and Matthew on the day was amazing. He was supportive, calm and attentive.
We also had Linda the toastmaster and she was just amazing. A lovely lady who lead the day with ease.

I was absolutely blown away by the amount of care and attention this wonderful team puts in ensuring that the day is perfect. I would like to just thank Matthew Dawson for everything and say that every bride needs him as a wedding coordinator, he was amazing kind always fixing my dress bringing me a glass of wine to soothe my nerves I cannot say it enough Matthew you are amazing! The food was divine, my father was a chef for over 20 years and was absolutely amazed by the food and service. No guest was left hungry, no supplier was left hungry, all left happy and full and amazed by the quality and taste of the food prepared. My day was perfect thanks to Swynford Manors staffs all of them were amazing. There is no doubt in my mind that Swynford manor should 100% be a wedding venue for all! I loved my wedding day it was perfect, everyone had an amazing time and left saying how amazing and beautiful the venue is. I myself am still processing the most beautiful, incredible day that I had! Thank you soo much to all members of staff, thank you again Matthew, thank you chef for the most delicious meal ever! I am beyond happy with everything!

The team at Swynford Manor are absolutely wonderful, they made the planning and execution of our perfect day totally stress free and a very exciting experience. All of the staff were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The venue itself is just simply stunning, it has a real wow factor but also can accommodate all manner of looks without it feeling out of place. The bridal prep area is amazing and even my hairdresser said it was the best prep area she had ever worked in. The bridal suit and guest rooms are beautiful and comfortable with a total feel of luxury and our guests all felt very spoilt. The team ran our day to the letter and there was not one hold up or issues that we were aware of it all just moved like clockwork. The food was amazing and really felt like a true fine dining experience rather than mass produced food. It was served flawlessly and was so delicious. Thank you for making our day so magical there was nothing else we could have asked for better

We got married at Swynford Manor back in June and our day went better than we could've ever imagined! All of the staff were amazing & accommodating, especially our wedding coordinator Lorna. Everything from start to finish was seamless. Any questions asked were answered straight away & full of reassurance & nothing was ever too much. The most stunning venue with the loveliest staff. We wouldn't of changed a single thing, other than being able to do it all over again. The day surpassed our expectations & choosing to get married at Swynford was the very best decision! Matthew was very organised and kindly reminded us of things we needed to do and made great suggestions. On the day he was very hands on and made our day go smoothly.

We got married last December and we had the best day ever! Everything was meticulously taken care of and we didn’t not have to worry about anything on the day! We laughed the whole time!

We couldn't have gotten married anywhere other than Swynford Manor. From our first viewing, we knew it was the right venue for us. I can't stress enough how beautiful this place is and it was a perfect fit for our elegant, rock and roll style wedding. The entire team couldn't have been more helpful, supportive and generous with their time. The process was always easy and clear and no question or ask was too much for them. We felt so comfortable with the venue and team that the big day felt so manageable and above all, enjoyable.
