OUR VENUE
Templar, a new wine bar & restaurant in Stratford, is a relaxed space offering a Modern European menu of creative small plates, featuring seasonal ingredients and bold flavours, with a rotating selection of accessible and delicious wines by the glass.

Our unpretentious vibe encourages casual dining, whether you’re joining us for a romantic rendez-vous, a work meeting or just hanging out with friends & family. The design of the venue is mid-century modernist – teak wood tones, a terrazzo marble floor, glass brick feature walls, an incredible horseshoe bar, plus beautiful warm lighting and acoustics. It looks as good as our food and wine taste.

YOUR EVENT
Our venue is available for both fully private and group hire, with full catering – including for weddings of course. We have 7-day availability with varying setups depending on whether you need a seated meal, a standing reception or combination of both.

THE BAR & RESTAURANT
On the ground floor bar & restaurant area we can offer a seated meal for 8–28 GUESTS .If you are wanting a standing reception, a drinks party and canapé event, we can cater for up to 60 GUESTS in this space alone.

THE MEZZANINE
We also have a semi-private dining area on our mezzanine level overlooking the bar and restaurant. Here we can cater for up to 16 GUESTS at one table, or up to 24 GUESTS with adjoining tables. For standing receptions we can cater for up to 30 GUESTS.

FOOD & DRINK
We can create bespoke menus, or customise our set menus. And we can cater for most dietary requirements so we’ve got all your guests covered.

Our curated wine list is accessible, excellent value, and represents some of the best examples of differing regions and countries. Cocktails are a speciality, and special creations can be devised if desired!

LOCATION
We are located in East London, within the new Stratford Cross development, close to the vibrant East Bank cultural quarter and the London Olympic stadium. We face West so are blessed with sunlight from 11am to around 3pm daily, with our bi-fold doors opening up to our sunny front terrace. We overlook extensive and attractive new plantings and a pedestrian thoroughfare, so the view is very pleasant.

We’re just a 10 minute walk to Stratford Overground station or Stratford International station, on a private estate, but access by car and taxi can be organised in advance to bring the wedding party and guests to our door via Turing Street.

Car parking is available at Westfield shopping centre, just a 10 minutes walk, or Stratford International multistory car park, which is just a 10-15 minutes walk.

FACILITIES
– An extensive outside terrace for use in the warmer months.
– A sound system suitable for background music and use of a microphone for speeches.
– Cakes can be organised on request by a professional local baker. Or you can BYO.
– A DJ and dancefloor can be setup for after the meal.
– Licensed to 11:45pm as standard, and a late license can be applied for.
– Disabled access on the ground floor, but unfortunately not on the mezzanine level.
