We could not be happier that we chose Tewinbury for our wedding this August (2024). It was the first and only venue we saw, and we fell in love with it instantly; it had everything we were looking for and we needed to look no further. We're so glad we didn't; Tewinbury was the most gorgeous, perfect venue for the wedding we envisioned. They were able to work with our budget to make everything we wanted possible, and we had many visits there in the year leading up to it to make sure everything was in place - we were never denied a meeting which really helped us feel at ease, especially when our planner left n the lead up to the wedding. We had three days at Tewinbury in total, so our family and friends were able to enjoy the day before and after with us, and this really made the experience extra special, especially as the rooms are so gorgeous, and so convenient for the barn. We got married in the Tythe Barn, which was just what we wanted, and had our drinks reception on the terrace. Luckily the weather as great so we were able to use the terrace and alongside the river throughout the event which was so lovely. Our co-ordinator Charlotte was an absolute dream on the day - calm, organised, and made sure every element of the wedding was implemented to absolute perfection. Everything ran completely smoothly, looked absolutely beautiful, and I - a total control freak - managed to completely relinquish control as I felt in such safe hands. We chose a buffet for our evening meal and everyone has commented on how lovely the food was, as were the canapés, and there was plenty of drink to go round. We are so grateful to Charlotte and her team, and the absolutely gorgeous venue that is Tewinbury, for the magical wedding of our dreams. We couldn't have wished for more.

Absolutely incredible from start to finish. They have a hugely experienced team who look after you every step of the way. They nail the details. Our guests are still buzzing about this venue and we could not have asked for more. We had a perfect magical day!!! Thank you!!

The venue for our wedding was absolutely stunning, and I was blown away by the setup when I arrived. The food was amazing, and we received numerous compliments from our guests. However, what truly makes this venue special is the incredible staff.

I want to extend a special thank you to Ethan, our wedding coordinator. He was very organized, responsive, and did an amazing job on the day. From the moment I stepped onto the venue, I didn't have to worry about anything.

Additionally, we were allowed to set up bits and pieces the day before, and I want to say a special thank you to Salem and Charlotte. They went above and beyond to help us with the setup, making everything perfect.

The genuine helpfulness and warmth of the staff made our wedding day even more special. I can't recommend this venue enough for anyone looking to have a truly memorable event.

We were able to have the reception we wanted, tweaking packages and plans to make it work for us. The team were very helpful and positive, nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend.

We had our wedding here this year (2023), and even though the venue is beautiful, unfortunately, the staff really let us down. The handover from our wedding coordinator to the manager present on the day was terrible and all the wrong information was given over.
The seating plan was completely wrong, and the layout of the room was not what we had asked for and detailed months prior.
We had a bar tab, but the bar staff charged our guests for their drinks, again even though this was clearly stated in writing and over the phone in the planning stages that there was to be a bar tab.
The wedding breakfast was good, but unfortunately the evening food was not edible. Futher more, most of our guests stayed at the hotel to which breakfast is included. When at breakfast the following morning they ran out of most of the food items.
When these issues were presented to the Events Manager, Lauren, we did not get a sorry or any kind of ownership for the mistakes that had taken place and Lauren actually didn't respond to our emails of calls to ensure the issues were resolved. Eventually, we had to get the General Manager involved, who did respond and resolve the issues, but unfortunately, overall not a great experience for the money that we paid to have our wedding there and nothing could fix the mistakes made on the day.

A big thank you to Sam for helping us plan our Tewinbury wedding, and to Kaika and team for ensuring it all went seamlessly on the day although I'm sure behind the scenes there was a lot more going on than we realised! They made it easy. The little touches will stick in our minds - like finding wedding cake in our room, keeping dinner warm for a guest on baby duty etc - as well as the warmth and friendliness of the staff. Everyone complimented the food - and people loved the venue so much one friend has already booked to come back, and more than one group of friends have asked if we can come back for a reunion next year.

Our day was everything we could ever have imagined it to be and more. We wanted a calm and intimate wedding and that’s exactly what we got. From start to finish we felt welcomed and at home, and all of the staff made everything feel effortless.

We are so pleased we chose to marry at Tewinbury. The venue was beautiful, we had so many compliments on the food, and the drinks were superb too. It genuinely was the happiest day of our lives. Wish we could do it all again.

We just wanted to email to say a huge thank you. Our wedding yesterday was simply perfect and it was because of all the amazing staff at Tewin Bury. From Sophie who helped us plan the day, to Charlotte who helped keep everything running smoothly on the day, to the hotel staff for helping get lots of guests checked in, to the dinner service and bar staff who were so quick and organised to everyone other member of staff we saw around the grounds. Each and every member of the team at Tewin Bury were nothing short of amazing. We were constantly met with kindness and everyone was so attentive, helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much for the staff and everyone went above and beyond to look after us from taking care of my veil, to getting us checked in (because we forgot) to ensuring we even had some wedding cake kept for us because we didn’t get to eat it during the night. All of that really does show what an amazing wedding venue Tewin Bury really is.
We have had so many compliments about the high quality of food, service and the amazing grounds. So thank you, thank you, thank you. Yesterday was truly the most magical and best day of our lives and you have all played a huge part in that. We truly appreciate everything you have all done.

I just wanted to say thank you so much for all of your help planning our wedding, it turned out amazing and we wouldn't have changed a thing!

I wondered if you could please pass this note on to Janay, who looked after us on the day. She was absolutely amazing, she covered everything so well and she really put me and my bridal party at ease before the ceremony, she helped so much throughout the day and put in so much effort to make sure we had everything we needed. She really made it special for us and made sure we had no stress at all. It must have been hard work in the heat running around after us all day, so we are really grateful. Thank you to Matt too who was also so helpful!! I caught him the week before the wedding and he really helped then too. Every member of staff was so attentive and every guest noticed it and complimented the service.

We had our wedding at Tewin Burry Farm at the beginning of December and it's only now we are getting a chance to give some feedback. Firstly we wanted to say a huge thank you to all of the staff at Tewin Burry for making our stay and wedding so amazing. Here are a few bits of feedback:

Hotel
A group of us stayed the night before and evening of the wedding. The rooms where stunning, clean and roomy and the bridal suit was especially lovely. The hotel staff were very helpful in fufilling any maintenance and room service requests.

Cowshed
We dinned at the Cowshed the evening before our wedding. It was a large party of 15 and the staff kindly did a lovely table set up and decorated the table with Christmas crackers. We where also really impressed with the complimentary entrees which where really unique and delicious, especially the cheese profiteroles. The roast dinner was superb and everyone was really happy. Staff was super friendly and professional. Overall we had a really fun evening so thank you!

Wedding day
Charlotte and the rest of the team were really helpful, friendly and organised. The day ran so smoothly that it was a stress free day for James and I. The venue looked more beautiful than we could ever have imagined, there were lots of lovely finishing touches we didn't expect. The food was OUTSTANDING and all options (vegan, gluten free etc.) were delicious. Literally every guest raved about the food. The bar staff were fun and friendly and coped well with how busy it was. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for giving us our dream wedding.

Good afternoon,

We had a wedding yesterday for Marilyn and Reg and whilst your whole team were impeccable, there is one member of your team we really wish to say a heart felt thank you to: Fionn.

Fionn was there during the wedding and there the next day at breakfast too. They were approachable and just did a bit extra to make the day really special. Fionn made sure the bride and groom got their canapés and was happy to answer any questions. Fionn was quick to help at breakfast with moving our tea and coffee with a hungry baby and without being asked to and without question.

We just wanted to make sure Fionn’s professionalism and just all round brilliant service is highlighted and we hope that this is passed on too.
