Facilities and Capacity

This venue is licensed to hold civil ceremonies, ensuring you can hold each moment of your wedding day in one beautiful place. Its indoor and outdoor spaces can accommodate up to 145 seated guests and up to 180 for your evening reception. Surrounded by lush grounds and landscaped gardens, this historic barn offers quintessential country charm. Its vaulted ceiling and whimsical chandeliers blend rustic and elegant design. You'll find three stylishly decorated rooms, each perfectly distinct. You can also book a grand marquee for the lawns during the warmer months. Whatever you choose, you'll savour each moment decorating the space to match your style.

We had a fantastic and very memorable day at The Barn

Dear Julia,
every time we met we always enjoyed the planning process, you made all of those decisions very easy and fun. Your advice certainly came with some great ideas for things that we didn’t even consider.

We had a fantastic and very memorable day at The Barn. From the team at the event to everyone being cared for so well, the service, food & drink was just perfect.

We already know some friends that are returning for dinner, we will be doing the same shortly. Once we get some photos over we will share some with you.

Finally, we wish to send a huge personal thank you from us to you, you made our day very special and we will forever grateful.

It really couldn’t have been anywhere else

We just wanted to say a great big thank you for yesterday. Natalie, you truly were amazing and the whole day felt so relaxed thanks to you.

Also please pass on our thanks to all of your amazing bar staff, I love how much they all got into it - they felt like guests and it was so lovely!!

We felt so taken care of and in such safe hands, everything (especially the food!) just exceeded even our wildest expectations of the day.

We will share all of the professional photos with you once we have them, we are so bloody glad we chose The Barn, it really couldn’t have been anywhere else ❤️

We couldnt asked for anything more

Hi Kirsty,

Firstly can we just say a huge thank you to you, Mo and all the staff at the barn. Everything went like clock work and we couldn't asked for anything more. #TEAMBARN.

We aren't getting the professional photos for about 3 weeks so I have attached a few from the night taken by our guests. I'll forward the others over when we get them.

Again on behalf of myself and my Husband (still sounds strange) we thank you for everything you have done for us.

Great Venue!

The Barn is the Perfect Venue

Dear Kirsty, Wayne and all the team,

This is just a little message to all of you to say a huge thank you for making our whole day incredible!!!
Kirsty you have been amazing throughout, taking care of every detail and supporting us in making decisions and organising everything that we asked for. Nothing was too much trouble!
The Barn is the perfect venue, it looked and felt romantic and magical on our special day. Once we receive the official photographs, we will send a selection over to you to share on your website.
So many of our guests commented on what a wonderful venue it was, the attentive staff team and the outstanding quality of food produced by your chefs. Please pass on our thanks to all of those people behind the scenes, who worked so hard to make everything perfect.
Wayne, you were a star and everything ran so smoothly. Our photographers said it was the most efficient wedding they had ever been to. You also took care of Leo and I throughout the day and we loved the special moment, when we had our champagne and canapés before going in to the wedding breakfast!
A venue is only as good as its team and you were all the best, the waiters, waitresses and bar staff were so much fun!
Words can’t describe how happy we are with every moment of our wonderful wedding at The Barn but thank you all for everything x

We can’t thank you, Wayne and the team enough. We had an amazing wedding day, we didn’t even mind the rain!

Our guests thought the Barn was just the perfect setting and many of them have commented on the excellent food and
service. One or two of them were thinking of putting a recommendation on TripAdvisor! We certainly will.

Thank you for making our day exactly how we wanted

Dear Kirsty, Wayne and all the team.
We want to say a massive thank you to you all for making our day exactly how we wanted it... relaxed and enjoyable and for guiding us through our reception with such ease and always making sure we were ok. The most magical day

To Kirsty, Wayne, Mo & the team,

We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We had THE MOST MAGICAL DAY. You are all such an amazing team who went above and beyond to ensure we had the best wedding day possible. So many of our guests have complimented the staff at the venue since we got married. The venue look absolutely stunning and the day couldn’t of gone any better if we tried!!

The Wedding Was Perfect!

Good afternoon.

As the best man for my brothers wedding I wanted send an email to express my views on the whole days event.

The wedding was perfect. The venue and all the staff that worked hard to make it all happen.

Wayne and Mo did a fantastic job. Wayne thank you for the kind words and everything you did for everyone there. All the best for the future.

Once again a massive thank you. As a regular patron of a beautiful restaurant and also a wedding guest I couldn't be anymore pleased with the barn and brasserie.

Lovely day!

I would like to thank the staff who made my daughters wedding day Thursday go so smoothly we had a lovely day. The grooms family had never been to a wedding, Simone and Liam are the first to become Mr and Mrs Ogden so his family were overwhelmed to start with but with the kindness of all the staff. They had a lovey time thank you.

Thank you so much for an amazing day! I have had so many of my guests compliment the venue, the food and the hospitality from all of your staff. We would like to say a special massive thank you to Wayne, he kept us up to date throughout the whole day and it could not have run smoother, nothing was too much to ask, he really did add to our day and i’ve also had a few guests comment on just how lovely he was, wedding days are normally a bit stressful however ours was very stress free and relaxing due to the support from Wayne throughout the day.

Incredible Day

Hello, I would just like to say a massive thank you to all at the barn brasserie!!! Every single member of staff went above and beyond for us on our special day! We had the most incredible time and all our guests have commented on how wonderful you all were and how beautiful the venue and the food was. We really can not say enough nice things on how amazing you all were both in the run up to the day and on the day itself. And we would also like to say a big thank you to Wayne who really did bend over backwards to make sure everything went perfectly.... We didn't have to worry about a thing.

Amazing Day!

Our wedding day held with you on Saturday turned out to be an amazing day with amazing food and helpful staff, they could not do enough to make sure our day ran smooth. Special thank you to Wayne the restaurant manager who without you I think we would of been all over the place, you spent the time to calm my nerves made sure we had all we needed from drinks to the food service and made sure each and everyone of our guests had everything they needed. You are a true gentleman. Joe behind the bar knew what we needed before we knew ourselves, he even made sure I (the bride) had a drink in her hand at all times why I mingled with my guests. And thank you Claire for the many emails and discussions we had putting the day altogether. Thank you to all of you at The Barn and Merry Christmas love Mr and Mrs Stevens
