The Box is a wedding and event venue located in the heart of Coventry City centre within the creative quarter Fargo Village, which is an artistically repurposed industrial space, designed for creativity. Located on Far Gosford Street, it's a recently regenerated area with a rich cultural heritage.

The Box is a multi-functional venue that is a blank canvas where you can let your imagination run wild. If you're looking for quirky with industrial vibes, then we could be for you.

Facilities and Capacity

The Box has a warehouse feel and depending on your layout can hold up to 200 people.

As the space is multi-purpose, it means we have a PA system, lighting, microphones, staging, and access to an AV technician, so if you are thinking of having a live band or music, we can support you with the use of our equipment.

Alongside the main room there is separate foyer area with fully functioning bar that provides a space for guests to chill or to add in extra fun such as photobooth or games area.

An area out the front will be sectioned off, so if you have a nice, bright, sunny day, we can put out the deck chairs.

Food and Drink

Most people who book the space tend to go for street food, which suits the venue's style and works well logistically, as there is not a fully functioning kitchen.

We can recommend street food vendors, or you can source your own. As long as they have all their up-to-date health and safety documents, anyone is very welcome, and we have space for their van or marquee.

There is also the option to go for the more traditional hot or cold buffet, and whilst we don't have a fully functioning kitchen, we do have space for caterers to serve from and fridges to store food.

As previously mentioned, we are a versatile space, so once booked, we can work with your caterers to ensure they have what they require.

The Box has a fully functioning bar, so we can provide welcome drinks and table wine, and you can expect to see all the usual suspects on the bar when it comes to spirits, beer or soft drinks.

If there is a particular tipple that you like, and we can get it from our supplier, then we are happy to order it for your big day.
