Nestled in the quiet village of South Rauceby, Lincolnshire, The Bustard Inn stands as a storied wedding venue brimming with historical charm and proudly boasts 2AA Rosettes for culinary excellence. Built in 1860, this Grade II listed venue takes its name from the fabled Great Bustard, once the heaviest bird capable of flight, which was last seen on Bustard Hill, now known as Tom Lane. Though the Great Bustard vanished from Britain in the mid-19th century, efforts to reintroduce the species on Salisbury Plain have met with success, with around 100 birds now thriving in the wild. Today, this humble pub and restaurant can cater to your special day, ensuring every detail is tailored to your desires and needs.

The expansive restaurant seats up to 40 guests for both a civil ceremony and wedding breakfast with room for more during evening festivities, including space for dancing. For intimate gatherings, a private dining area accommodates up to 10 guests. Guests can savour the delectable menus alongside an exceptional wine selection. The solid oak bar, with its open stone fireplace and flagstone flooring, serves as the heart of this area. The team takes pride in their real ales, ensuring every pint is perfectly enjoyed.
