Unfortunately I will never recommend this venue for wedding or any other events, after informing Jay Soni, that I will need to cancel my event due to my grandfathers health, I was told on the phone that I could possibly use the deposit money towards another event. However later the same day I was told this was not possible, I understand you are a business however, no sympathy was shown by the management team, I was told I had to pay the 50% cancellation or continue with my event. Unfortunately after issues with payment they went ahead and cancelled my event and kept the full amount of the event costs.. This is unacceptable as I had informed the management team more than 2 months prior to my event that I would need to cancel, having paid the cost for the event I am now out of pocket and sadly lost my grandfather in the process. I am mortified by the way in which clay oven handled my issues. Having mourned the loss of my grandfather 3 days after the event was due to take place I contacted Jay sony who is still yet to respond to my email. I have read several reviews about this venue just read them too late to make any impact therefore this is a warning do not book with clay oven.

The manager is a liar, dishonest and a time waster which tells you to come and put down a deposit knowing he is booked just to buy more time to try and see if he can get a better deal. He goes back on his agreement and asks you to pay more money or consider your day not booked. This business is not about hospitality in making people happy on their wedding day it is about lying greed and money. This is a business run by a man with no word and does not know how to keep to his word and the sick thing is that he pretends that he cares.

I would never recommend this company to anyone planning their wedding.

The staff are more then helpful and the venue itself is a treat. It's not the cheapest place around but it's not unreasonable either. The food, cooked fresh on the premises, is simply superb.
