The 16th-century Elizabethan Inn boasts charming oak beams, crooked floors and classic inglenook fireplaces. The former coaching inn has been recently restored to combine the delightful original features with modern, rustic elegance. The makeover, by designer Isle Crawford, provides a warm and distinctive setting for your celebrations.

Just a short stroll from the venue is the stunning 12th century Parish Church and the 17th century Market Hall arches; these historic local features provide the most enchanting backdrop for your day.

Your wedding ceremony, with up to 60 guests, can take place in one of our four licensed rooms. Following your romantic ceremony, your wedding breakfast is an exquisite banqueting experience which has been carefully designed by our fantastic Head Chef. The personalised feast is made using the finest local and sustainable ingredients and is perfectly complemented by the finest wines and local ales.

You have exclusive use of the inn for your wedding reception. You can celebrate into the night with up to 100 guests before retiring to one of our 38 luxurious bedrooms. The next morning, you can extend the festivities by enjoying a delicious breakfast with your closest friends and family.
