This truly unique Art-Deco grade II listed venue is a hidden gem within Derby’s city centre. A distinctive landmark, rich with heritage, the building boasts a famous sunken lounge, beautiful sweeping staircase and has retained numerous period features, providing a beautiful setting.

We are centrally located on the outskirts of Derby city centre, within easy reach of the M1 and M42. Derby train station is only 3 minutes away and East Midlands Airport is close by.

CIVIL CEREMONIES AND CIVIL PARTNERSHIP

Civil marriage ceremonies are a modern alternative to a church wedding, with the benefit of holding your wedding ceremony and reception under one roof. Our Civil Wedding Licence offers you the choice of five distinctive rooms in which to hold your marriage ceremony, seating from 20 up to 200 guests.

Additionally we are a registered venue for Civil Partnerships, allowing you and your partner to make a lifelong commitment to one another in an exceptionally individual venue.

WEDDING CELEBRATIONS

We offer a superb choice of rooms for your wedding celebrations and evening reception, catering from 20 to 400 guests. All of our suites are versatile and can be adapted to suit your individual needs. Guests can make use of The Wyvern Bar, which is easily accessible from all of our rooms.

Couples have the full support of an experienced Wedding Co-ordinator who will be available to help with the planning and offer guidance for your special day. When the big day arrives, our Management team will be on-hand to ensure the smooth delivery of your dream wedding.

WINE AND DINE

We understand that all weddings are special and unique for every couple. With this in mind, we encourage you to create your own tailor-made package consisting of canapés, menus and drinks of your choice. Our skilled Chef is more than happy to discuss menu ideas and themes.

For your convenience, wedding breakfast and buffet menus have been created, and we are more than happy for you to build your own menu from this list. We offer vegetarian options and are happy to cater for any special dietary requirements.

You and your guests can relax at the end of your event in one of our 50 bedrooms. The Derby Conference Centre boasts 50 en-suite bedrooms, offering a comfortable nights stay with a full English breakfast.
