We got married at the Dickens Inn about a month ago, and it was absolutely incredible. Our wedding coordinator Agata was so friendly, and helpful, and Bogdan, the event coordinator on the day was also amazing! Everyone was saying how the venue looked amazing, the staff were so kind and attentive to guests, and everyone loved the food, both the canapes and the mains. The price was absolutely fantastic for the quality of service we got - from the complimentary menu tasting to the wine tasting, designing beautiful table stationery, honestly, we cannot have picked a better location for our wedding! Absolutely stunning location near Tower Bridge, and also the views over the marina were so beautiful, as well as the quirky and character filled nature of The Dickens Inn itself! Cannot recommend this place enough.

We had our wedding reception at The Dickens Inn in November 2018 and we could not have hoped for anything better – it was perfect! Really easy to contact and chat to Samanta during the planning phase which helped massively.

We were able to set up our table centrepieces and favours the day before the wedding to get the room looking just how we wanted it, although we didn’t do very much – the fairy lights that are already in place around the beams are gorgeous!

We went for a walk with our photographer during the reception and got some fantastic photos in front of Tower Bridge and around the docks – there’s a red phone booth outside and colourful mosaics nearby that make great backdrops.

I’m vegan which they were able to cater for really easily and all of the vegetarian options were without eggs and dairy, including the chocolate brownie dessert that all of the guests had.

We were able to connect a phone to the sound system for our own choice of background music during the meal, we had wireless mics for the speeches and our DJ in the evening had no trouble setting up so we could dance the night away.

We used the raised balcony / mezzanine above the bar in the function room as a photo book area with props and a Polaroid camera and it was perfect for this as it kept it slightly separate for people.

Our wedding was truly the day of our lives and having the reception at The Dickens Inn was a massive part of that. We couldn’t fault anything and would highly recommend the venue to anyone currently looking for somewhere to celebrate. It’s a gorgeous slice of history right in the middle of central London!

Our wedding at the Dickens Inn was everything I wanted and more. As we were both born and raised in London it made perfect sense to get married here. We chose the Dickens Inn as St Katherine’s Dock is one of our favourite London spots. The docks and pub looked amazing in the evening covered in fairy lights and we managed to get some stunning wedding photos by London Bridge. All our guests commented on how beautiful the venue looked. All the staff were so helpful in the lead up to our big day and the actual day itself. Everything ran smoothly and stress free!
We really wanted a relaxed, fun wedding in an spectacular London location and that’s exactly what we got with the Dickens Inn. I just wish we could do it all over again!

The old-world charm of The Dickens Inn provided a perfect setting with the boats of St Katherine’s docks and Tower Bridge providing a beautiful backdrop.
The events manager Sam and the team at The Dickens Inn were a delight to work with as we planned the event. Their experience and wonderful approach helped us at every step, with great attention to all the small details. We particularly appreciated their willingness to tailor the menu to our particular wishes and the ability to reserve exclusive use of both the indoor space and the outside terrace was fantastic.
The organization on the day itself was highly professional and everything proceeded exactly as planned. The venue was beautifully decorated for both the ceremony and the banquet and the quality of the food and drinks and the service provided was fabulous. The team really delivered on all their promises and everything came together beautifully.
It was truly an unforgettable occasion and we cannot thank the team at the Dickens Inn for all their hard work to make our day so special! We could not have asked for a better day!
After the wedding ceremony (the venue is licensed for civil ceremonies) and the banquet at the Dickens Inn, it was then only a short walk to board a boat for the party to continue on the River Thames!

"We had a fantastic day at the Dickens’ for our wedding breakfast and evening reception, having got married in Bermondsey earlier in the afternoon (our guests loved walking over Tower Bridge to get to the Dickens’ Inn!). The setting is beautiful and the room looked wonderful. We were really pleased with how the whole day went. There were no hiccups and actually the whole process right from first contact was fairly seamless thanks to Agata and the team. The food was delicious and great value, as you would expect from a brilliant restaurant. Everybody loved the whole day and we would highly recommend the Dickens’."

Well where do I start, the moment me and my furture husband viewed The Dickens inn we fell in love with the venue straight away.
We loved the rustic feel low beams you honestly didn't need to add must decoration as its natural beauty made it look amazing.
Then you looked out the windows to see the beautiful Views of st Katherine's dock.
We were sold!

From the day we made the booking right up to our special day we were looked after. They really couldn't do enough, nothing was too much trouble. I must of blasted them was 20 plus e-mails with questions I always got a reply or phone call the communication was spot on.

They made us and our guests feel very welcome. The day before we were able to get everything dropped off set up for our special day the team helped too which was great. I was told there was no need for me to do this as they was happy to set up but I wanted to be apart of setting up the venue and they allowed me to do this.

We would not of change a single thing about our day, the day ran so smoothly. The timings were perfect, we didn't have to prompt anything they were always one step ahead of us.
We were always worried would there be enough food what if there are any hicks up, honestly speaking we had absolutely nothing to worry about The Team made sure our day was Perfect, it was even better then we could of ever imagined.

We had our wedding reception at the Dickens inn in May. We had the best night ever! We couldn't have picked a more perfect venue, all the staff on the night were so accommodating and joined in with our celebrations. Everyone commented on how nice the three course meal was & how tasty the 'beast Pizzas' were in the evening. On the build up to the wedding Agata & Sam (our event co-coordinators) helped us organise everything and thought of things we hadn't, offering us useful advise and helpful suggestions. They helped us set up exactly how we wanted too. The DJ (who we booked through the dickens inn) was fab too. Thank you everyone who was involved!

The Dickens Inn gave us everything we wanted in a wedding venue. We had a Central London location, with beautiful surroundings, exquisite views, tasty food and helpful staff, all for an affordable price. We loved the venue so much, that we used it for our service, reception and evening celebration. For each part of the day the staff were able to transform the room to fit the vision we had, making it look elegant and inviting. In the run up to the wedding the Dickens Inn team were available to answer all our questions and help us plan the day. We had a wonderful wedding at the Dickens Inn. The setting is absolutely perfect and many of our guests commented on what a great venue it was. It was great to be able to have the marriage ceremony and the reception all in one place, with enough space for a Ceilidh band and dancing! The amazing location by Tower Bridge was a bonus and we got some brilliant photos there.

The Dickens Inn were very helpful and flexible, allowing us to set up the day before the wedding, since the room wasn’t in use. They were also very understanding when there was a problem with our payment!

We had our wedding reception at The Dickens Inn and we absolutely loved it. It's been the best choice we made as we were torn between two venues. The Dickens Inn is an amazing place located in the most incredible area. St Katharine's Dock is beautiful and the surroundings were perfect for to take some lovely photos.
The room that we hired was very rustic and spacious, overlooking The Tower Bridge. It looked very pretty even before we decorated it. The fairy lights in there were very nice but we brought more and turned the place into a fairy tale like setting.
The food was delicious and the serving was impecable. After the meal the room was cleared up and turned into a dance floor. We opted for a ceilidh and it was super fun. All staff were very welcoming and so nice and helpful to us. From the booking process until the last arrangements after the wedding everything went very smoothly. It just couldn't have been less stress free. We are so so pleased we found The Dickens Inn and we would go back there anytime as it's one of the best places in London.
