We had our wedding at the Dodford Inn this month and wow the day was perfect! Ben and the team were great, they made everyone feel so welcomed and gave our day such a friendly vibe. They went above and beyond with everything we asked and we never felt anything was too big of an ask. The venue was beautifully styled and the warm fairy lights gave such a cosy atmosphere. We had so many compliments for this hidden gem and couldn’t recommend this venue enough.

We had our wedding in August of 2024 and The Dodford Inn was a wonderful wedding venue. They gave us very fair pricing based on quoted received before the updated plans and were happy to accommodate any requests.

The food was lovely and they went out of their way to cater to specific dietary requirements and even put together our self assembled wedding cake (it looked so good)!

I felt very taken care of as a bride and was regularly asked if I needed a drink or wanted food put aside. It was a rainy morning but luckily it stopped for my entrance through the doors and I was helped with my dress to enable the bridesmaids to make their entrances.

The new accommodation is also lovely and there is lots of space for the Bridal party to get ready ❤️

We got married and held our reception at The Dodford Inn in June 2024 and would absolutely recommend this as a fantastic wedding venue with Ben, Becky & the team as wonderful hosts. The transition from marriage ceremony, to wedding breakfast and on to the evening celebrations went seamlessly and all of the food supplied throughout the day was amazing. We were fortunate to have really good weather which allowed our guests to enjoy the fantastic outdoor area during the day and continue with a barbecue outside on the evening which everyone loved. If you are thinking of booking your wedding at The Dodford Inn, don't hesitate - we can’t recommend it highly enough !

On the hottest day of 2023, we celebrated our 10 year anniversary in an intimate event at The Dodford Inn.
From the start Ben M & his lovely sister worked with us on our requirements & followed up with such a beautiful & memorable day. The venue is clean, spacious, scenic, location is ideal, parking is great & the views from their well maintained grounds are stunning! Perfect for pictures, you may even get a sunset.
The food by their chef & team was so beautifully cooked & presented. We asked for Thai food & that is exactly what we got. This was accompanied with fresh crispy prawn crackers & tasty samosa's. The children had their own menu.
Most of all we were all bowled over by the professional staff & ladies, running back and forth on a very hot day to fill up drinks, bring food and arrange for the cake. Nothing was too much from start to finish.
As brown Asian's, this was something different for the elder generation & many of them have said they really enjoyed something new. We will be back time & time again as this place now is part of our story.
We wholeheartedly recommend this place as your choice of venue for a wedding or a special occasion. We looked far & wide, for something perfect & The Dodford Inn is as close as you're going to get to perfect. You will not regret it.

We had our wedding reception at The Dodford Inn and we were blown away by the venue and staff. We cannot recommend Ben and his wonderful team and venue enough. We knew immediately on finding The Dodford Inn that is was the venue for us. It is truly stunning and the grounds made for the most incredible areas for our guests and photos. The venue was beautiful and spoke for itself, which meant that we could keep our own decorations to a minimum and still have a gorgeous wedding. The venue has a beautiful modern rustic charm and a cosy atmosphere that made us feel right at home straight away.

Ben and his team went out of their way to make the day so special for us and our guests. They were attentive, friendly, and professional. They took care of every detail and made sure everything ran smoothly. The food was amazing and we received so many compliments from everyone. We had the BBQ and wood fired pizzas and it was delicious, fresh, and plentiful. The team was also super accommodating with the additional dietary requirements and allergies of our guests. Ben was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble for him. He was always available during the planning process and gave us great advice on how to make our day memorable. He was flexible, accommodating, and supportive. He made us feel like we were his only clients and he genuinely cared about our happiness.

We highly recommend The Dodford Inn for anyone looking for a beautiful and professional wedding reception. The venue was simply perfect and provided the most incredible backdrop for our wedding, giving us amazing memories and photos with the gorgeous natural scenery and the beautiful decor, that we will cherish forever. Ben and Becky were both quick to answer all questions before hand leading up to the day. They offered help and advice, were attentive to both our individual needs and wants.

On the day, staff provided quick solutions to our requests and the full team including the amazing waiters, waitresses, bar and kitchen staff were just the best group of people; all hugely dedicated, professional and caring.

The food just blew us ALL away. It was delicious and well presented with generous portion sizes.

The views and grounds are beautifully maintained and the facilities all easily catered for our group of 60 day guests and 100 + evening guests. There was a seamless transition between everything from getting the day ready in the morning, liaising with external supplies, florists, taking cake deliveries, supporting the ceremony itself and working through the canapes, food courses, speeches, band set ups and more. It all just meant our mind was well and truly on being present and enjoying the day.

With all the personal touches that each member of staff seemed to effortlessly make our day couldn't have been more perfect and we have the Dodford Inn to thank. We could not have asked for a better support team and we highly recommend them as a Wedding Venue.

Dodford Inn hosted our wedding in October and from beginning to end we had a fantastic experience. They were so accomodating of odd requests and incredibly flexible.
Our guests had the time of their lives due to the excellent food and well priced drinks. The organisation of the day went without a hitch and the coordinators were on hand should we need anything. He even noticed that my new husband and I hadn't eaten, fixed us two plates and suggested we take it to our room to have 15 mins together.
All the staff were incredible on the day and we are so grateful.
And a huge plus are the utterly gorgeous bridal suite and guest rooms!
I'm just disappointed we don't get to do it all over again. Thank you so much to Ben, Becca and the whole team for making our wedding day absolutely perfect

We had an exceptional experience at The Dodford Inn, the venue exceeded all our expectations, from the beautiful decor to the impeccable service. After visiting many wedding venues, we stumbled upon the Dodford inn, a former pub in a quiet scenic location. Upon our first visit to the Dodford we we're sold, it is a beautiful venue which can cater for either small or larger events due to the acres of land surrounding the immaculate stunning facilities.

Everything from the planning to on the day couldn't of gone better for us. Ben and the team we're on hand for everything we needed or was worried about. They offered a wide range of options for our wedding breakfast, we we're spoilt for choice and they catered for all. The day itself was a magical experience from the ceremony up until midnight. The feedback from the guests was brilliant, the food, the decor and the effort made by the dodford did not go unnoticed. We recommend the dodford to all couples looking for a venue to tie the knot.

We honestly cannot recommend this venue enough! Becky and Ben especially could not have done more for us from the start of the process to the very end. No request was too big and they made every single dream come true. The feedback from our guests was absolutely outstanding. Something that stood out to us was Becky and Ben’s willingness to know and learn as much about us as a couple, especially a same sex couple that requires a slightly different approach to the day than a straight couple would. The venue, the staff, the food, the decorations - perfect!!
