The Earlham Suite at George Meehan House is a historic property in Haringey, North London. Built around 1865 as an Italianate-style mansion and lovingly restored in 2018, it is a popular venue for weddings and civil partnerships.

Facilities and Capacity

In addition to the Haringey Register Office, The Earlham Suite at George Meehan House is home to two beautiful event spaces: the Earlham Room and the Woodside Room. While the former can seat 20 guests, the latter can accommodate 77. For added comfort and convenience, there are changing rooms for you and your wedding party. Informal ceremonies can also take place in the garden if weather permits. The surrounding parkland and landscaped private garden are perfect for photographs and a glass of champagne after the ceremony.

Most special requests can be accommodated, and the staff here will strive to create an unforgettable day. A range of marriage and civil partnership ceremony scripts are also available, and couples have the option to personalise ceremonies with their own vows, poems, readings and music. Moreover, the venue is differently-abled friendly, and there are two Blue Badge parking bays on site. Confetti is permitted as well, so you can exit as newlyweds in style. The grounds can also be used for elephant or horse baarat.

George Meehan House is located a 10-minute walk from Wood Green Station on the London Underground, making the house less than 45 minutes away from Central London with easy access from all areas of London and beyond. Several buses pass the end of their driveway, and they are close to the A406 North Circular.
