Facilities and Capacity
With a wonderful selection of indoor and outdoor spaces to host your marital event, you will delight in wandering the grounds throughout your special day. A bohemian-style tipi can be set up by the lake for a covered celebration in the fresh air surrounded by the verdant gardens. Up to 150 of your loved ones can be comfortably seated in this Nordic tent for your ceremony or reception. The space is incredibly capacious and will offer a rustic backdrop as you say 'I do' and later dance the night away. The friendly staff at The Firs invites couples to personalise each area to bring their vision to life. You will be able to enjoy a truly unique celebration here with your beloved friends and family. Overnight accommodation can be provided in the luxurious two-bedroom cottage overlooking the sparkling waters of the lake. Guests can also avail of glamping bell tents, so you and your loved ones can continue your festivities into the night under the starry sky.

Couldn’t have asked for better!
The venue itself is in the most idyllic setting, surrounded by gorgeous countryside views. The grounds are so well maintained, you can really see the hard work and dedication that goes in and it truly is just stunning. The tipi is amazing and there is so much space!
It is so well suited for a wedding with multiple areas separate from one another, so the flow of the day can go from ceremony, reception, dinner, evening drinks really smoothly.
We loved that we were so free to have the wedding that we wanted, and the team were so accommodating and helpful to make our vision come to life! No two weddings at the firs are the same which makes it all the more charming.
The owners and the whole team at The Firs are such lovely people, and are really passionate about what they do. They were great during the planning process, and on the day they were absolutely fantastic in making sure everything ran smoothly for us.
We would not hesitate to recommend The Firs to anyone, we will most definitely back to stay in the cottage and enjoy the views❤️
