The Garden Tipi is a tipi wedding venue located in Preston Bissett, between Buckingham and Oxford. Preston Bissett Nurseries started more than 40 years ago as an independent garden nurseries. This would become renowned in the country for exceptional customer service, high-quality plants, Garden Design and a marvellously curated country shop. Oak added to the family run nursery with tipis for weddings and other special events, along with artisanal coffee and deli treats both sweet and savoury. Since 2023, these premises have seen a new private tipi garden added with its own separate entrance and parking.

Facilities and Capacity

The Garden Tipi is a venue built on the strong foundations of a thriving garden centre. An ever-growing selection of plant selections is available, along with the advice of our own award-winning Garden Design Team. We continue to add amenities and features to the nurseries, including the namesake tipis, a cafe and deli, a sculpture park, an orchard to name but a few. His aim is to provide couples with the premier tipi wedding venue in the county. The two-hat venue, with its own gardens, orchard, driveway and parking, makes a private and inviting locale to hold a special celebration. The tipi is furnished with wooden tables and chairs, lounge furniture, and indoor and outdoor bars. Heating and a wood burner are available to help make even a winter wedding cosy, and the sides can be raised for a summer al fresco ambience. The tipis can hold up to 90 day guests and the venue can hold up to 120 evening guests.

The Garden Tipi team offers wedding services in a range of convenient packages. We offer a full day package and a twilight package, both of which can be tailored to suit your needs. These all include exclusive use of the two hat main tipi and gardens. We partner with trusted vendors to provide more services, such as catering and event planning.
