Facilities and Capacity

The George Alcock Centre offers two spacious halls for private hire, allowing ample room for up to 200 guests. Our function spaces can be adapted to seat 120 people for dinner or more for an evening reception. Each area features neutral interiors and pared-back details, forming a blank canvas for your wedding decor and colour scheme. This versatility gives you plenty of leeway to be creative when designing the wedding of your dreams. Disabled facilities and ample parking are available on the premises, and we also permit the use of confetti for welcome entrances and send-offs.

Our professional event manager has decades of experience coordinating weddings, parties and other celebrations. With their help and guidance, you can pull together all the little details for a seamless experience. We also offer a professional kitchen area that caterers can use for food preparation and service. You are welcome to bring in an outside catering company, or we can provide recommendations if you prefer. A licensed bar is also available for the service and corkage of alcohol.
