Hayford Farm has a rich history as the cherished home of the Jones family for several generations. In August 2023, we proudly introduced the newest addition to Hayford Farm: The Granary Courtyard. This exciting venture marks a new chapter in the farm's legacy, offering a versatile and enchanting venue for various special occasions and events. With a blend of history, tradition, and modern amenities, The Granary Courtyard creates unforgettable memories for all who visit.
As you arrive at The Granary Courtyard, you will travel down a driveway which is 3/4 mile long with beautiful scenery on either side of the drive. Parking is available on the left-hand side just before you come into the main yard. You will enter the main yard by walking underneath the weeping willow tree and up the gravel path; the Big lawn is located on the right-hand side, and then welcome drinks are available in the lavender yard just to the left-hand side.
Just past the lavender yard, you take a left into the courtyard where we have our 15m x 15m marquee located; within the courtyard are ladies & gents toilets, which have a baby changing facility and both have accessible toilets, a catering area and The 1856 Bar which will be fully staffed and stocked for your day! Surrounding the courtyard are four traditional holiday cottages which can sleep up to 18 guests, three of which have hot tubs, and three are pet-friendly with disabled access and are included in the venue hire.
We offer exclusive three-day hire from 10 am the day before your wedding with a 4 pm cottage check-in until 4 pm the day after your wedding with a 10 am cottage check time.
For weddings which have more than 150 guests to sit down during the day, we recommend an additional marquee to be set up on the big lawn, which has ample room for up to 350 guests to sit down.
Our access is also suitable for coaches, and coach parking is available if required.
