The Hall Barns at Prestwold is a cool and quirky, exclusive-use wedding venue near Loughborough, Leicestershire, UK. Tucked away in the idyllic Leicestershire Wolds countryside, this secluded wedding venue provides a breathtaking backdrop for your day that will make even your photographer swoon. Originally built in 1889, the barn and grounds have undergone a full restoration and are now a fully-fledged, Insta-worthy Leicestershire venue, perfect for a laid-back, festival-style wedding.

Facilities and Capacity

Preparations for your big day will begin in Laundary Cottage, a self-catering accommodation that can sleep up to 8 guests the night before your wedding. The cottage is a light yet cosy space that is beautifully furnished and is the ultimate ‘getting-ready’ spot for the morning of your wedding. Once you're dressed, you can make your way to the Crewyard, which is licensed for civil ceremonies. This covered pavilion, with its dreamy wooden beams and timber flooring, can seat up to 70 guests and is the perfect place to say your ‘I do’s before heading to the rustic 19th-century barn for your wedding breakfast. Bright and airy (the natural light here is something else), the barn has room for up to 150 people to dance the night away – if you’re after a cool, party wedding venue for your big day, The Hall Barns, Leicestershire, is the one.

The Hall Barns at Prestwold has its own kitchen and BBQ pit, and our awesome Head Chef, Marc Billings, will pull out all the stops to serve up the wedding menu of your dreams. Chef Marc is a national Chef of the Year finalist and offers both bespoke and carefully curated menus for you to choose from. In addition to the best wedding food in Leicestershire (trust us!), the Hall Barns also has lots of on-site accommodation, so you and your guests don’t need to go far when the partying is finally over. There’s our campsite, complete with festival-inspired glamping pods – we even have an epic Newlyweds Suite – all just 30 seconds from the gates. We also have our newly refurbished lodge which our team will drive you to in the jeep at the end of the night. Beautiful cream furnishings and luxurious decor will ensure that you enjoy your first night as newlyweds in style.
