Facilities and Capacity
Accommodating 80 day guests, and up to 120 evening guests, our exclusive space combines original character and a contemporary feel. Complete with original oak beams, beautiful arched window and working fireplace The Hay Loft creates a lasting first impression from the second you walk in.
At The Hay Loft we can look after your day from start to finish. We're licenced for civil ceremonies so you can make your vows beneath our beautiful arched window, enjoy a delicious wedding breakfast and even explore our lush grounds on our just married wedding buggies for a unique photo opportunity. Then get ready to celebrate late into the evening for your reception party. Our outdoor terrace with heaters and covered seating means that you can enjoy the tranquil space whatever the weather.

Magical autumn Wedding Day
The Hay Loft was one of the first venues we visited and we both instantly fell in love with the rustic, intimate setting for our autumn wedding (October 2024). Demi was great and helped us so much from start to finish, John who coordinated and ran the day was brilliant, he put us both at ease right from the beginning and was so kind and helpful throughout the day, lots of our guests commented on how great he was. The venue is just perfect inside and out and our photographs are beautiful. We opted efor the twilight option which included a hog roast buffet, the food was delicious and we’ve had so many compliments on it. The bar staff were all so friendly and attentive as well. I would highly recommend this venue for an intimate wedding. Perfect size, hosts and staff!

Millington Wedding 2024
One of the first venues we viewed and instantly loved. We knew we weren't going to have a large number of guests and the cosy, inviting atmosphere as you enter, caught our interest straight away. Not only the venue, but the staff on hand when we visited during the wedding fayre we attended. We came on 2 occasions (the 2nd to secure a date). We never felt pressured, but given every bit of information as well as a tote bag complete with every option for us to view in our own time at home. Once secured with Ruth, she ensured we were happy every step of the way. Including a wedding tasting where we were treated to drinks on the house. Nothing was too much effort and the actual day went by like a dream. John keeping us going and on time throughout the day. Calming my nerves as well as taking my nephews on a spin round the golf course! Couldn't have asked for a better venue or staff. Highly and most definitely recommend!

Allerton Manor Golf Club
Words cannot explain how amazing this venue is. The team at Allerton Manor are just the best. Ruth and John are fantastic and we have made friends for life . Lynn who works behind the bar is the best cocktail maker ever and she made sure we had our favourite mojitos ready after we got married . We are both so happy that we had our wedding with you and we will always be returning for the amazing food you serve at the old stable xxxxxx

The most relaxing, effortless yet perfect wedding
Most people think of wedding planning and absolutely dread it but thanks to Demi and the amazing team at Allerton Manor I only have fond memories! They made the planning and execution of the day flow with ease and not once did I feel like I had to know what I was doing or where I needed to be because it was all planned and ready for me. Before you know it, you’ve blinked and all of those hours and excited wedding plans are all over but WOW was it an amazing day! The grounds are amazing for photographs and make for some amusing shots on the golf course! The golf buggy was also such a winner with us as bride and groom but also the guests loved taking pictures next to it! The food, the decor, everything about this venue is incredible and faultless. I’m so thankful that they offer more functions because this is a venue I’d never think twice about booking. Thank you so much again, Demi, Ruth, John and team at Allerton Manor ❤️

Outstanding ❤️
Well what can I say from the moment wen met Ruth and John of the Hay Loft they was the most attentive considerate and accomadating people we could have wished for .. I was so nervous as we only had 6 months to prepare but continuous messages of support was so beautiful and eased my anxiety … Everything we wanted was no trouble even to the sentimental pictures and a candle I wanted to burn all day for my dad 💔.. I could actually feel the love and sincerity of how much that meant to me to make sure all my tiny details were adhered too .. On the day I arrived as an older couple getting married I never felt probably how I should have but the rooms I fell in love with the day I seen them and then when I seen my decor ….. WOW so many people commented on the staff the venue the service I fell in love with it all .. we even gave cards out as people asked for future events themselves .. Our day was just phenominal just sad we can’t do it all over again .. we will never be able to thank this amazing venue and staff for that special day … I adore this beautiful place and it will always hold a special place in our hearts along with our wedding co ordinators without them and how they treated us and our family and friends will would never of had that dream come true .. I hope one day we can have another event here ❤️

The Perfect Venue
Ruth and the whole team at the hayloft made our wedding day the perfect day. They were so flexible and accommodated everything we asked for. Nothing was too much for them. Everything was communicated from early on, consistent communication throughout the whole experience. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better wedding venue, we loved every second and wish we could do it all over again. Highly recommend 🤍

Beautiful Venue
My son and future bride married hear last September (stu & tash )....very well organised.... beautiful interior... attention to detail ...host very easy to do there up most to make it perfection......loved the gentleman host gave my granddaughter saphia a joyful ride on the just married golf buggy ......she giggled with happiness and so did we 🤣...👏...thank you and well done for your professionalism

Best day of of our lives....
Perfect from start to finish, What an amazing experience. Ruth and John from booking to the end helped us in every way to feel comfortable and guided us through something we have never done before. The staff are amazing and made us feel so welcome and special right through the wedding. I didn't need to learn or do anything, We were just guided on what to say and what was right to do. It was so easy we didn't even get stressed or have anxiety with all the help given. The room was well air conditioned and the registrars did everything needed and we just had to copy their lines they said to us. The food was the best we have ever tasted and all the guests must have gone home half a stone heavier as you have never tasted food so nice. John is like the uncle you never had and he makes you feel so relaxed from the photos on the golf cart to advice on the first dance. He is there for you and all the guests love him. I was so scared of getting married and messing up it's impossible here. We want to thank all the staff, Ruth and John for making a memory and experience for life.

Perfect wedding venue
From original enquiry to ceremony and reception we experienced a great service. Ruth the organiser was always quick to respond and put us at ease over any issues we had. Very professional and experienced. Thanks to John who was there throughout the day and night to make sure everything ran smoothly so we could enjoy our day. The venue is perfect for everything you need and we would highly recommend.

Wedding October 2022
Would highly recommend choosing this venue to host your wedding, great communication from Ruth throughout the planning process (thank you), beautiful venue and location and our host John was fantastic on the day. He really did do such a good job and we all loved him as if he was one of the family, wouldn't have been the same without him! Thank you!
The day ran smoothly, the staff they were so helpful and everyone had such an amazing day. Food was spot on and we had a lovely time at the food tasting afternoon too.

Our Dream Wedding
We knew this was the perfect venue from just driving up to the venue, the grounds are gorgeous and the venue is even better! The staff were amazing and everything we asked for they made happen. The food was perfect, the setting was perfect, everything was just perfect. We wish we could do it all over again, we would not change a single thing. Thank you!

A supportive, caring and professional venue
We booked our wedding just before the pandemic and ended up having to change our dates. I had also lost my grandmother during the first lockdown and felt like the wedding was the last thing on my mind.
The care and support we received from Allerton Manor was second to none and they made the process of moving the wedding simple and hassle-free. Ruth - our wedding coordinator - was on hand to answer questions day and night. She was extremely quick in responding and offered excellent advice with everything from wedding suppliers to room set up. I could not have valued her help more.
The night before the wedding, one of our guests was unable to attend and again, Ruth was at the other end of the phone to discuss swapping guests. She also regularly checked the weather for us during the build-up to the wedding, which I thought was a lovely touch.
Our Wedding Day couldn't have been more perfect. John and Ruth had prepared a beautiful venue and ensured that every detail of our day was taken care of - including the special touches in honour of my grandmother. The day ran seamlessly - from the beautiful vows to a fun run around the grounds in a golf cart - we couldn't have asked for a better day.
The venue was stunning. All of our guests commented on being able to enjoy the outdoor space. It felt like a wedding in a tree house when we were out on the terrace! I loved feeling surrounded by nature and enjoying drinks with my guests under twinkling fairy lights and trees. The food was absolutely beautiful - well presented, tasty and excellent portion sizes. Allerton Manor catered for our vegan, diabetic and vegetarian guests and provided a lovely menu just for the children. Everyone at our wedding raved about the food and I'm still craving the canapés months later!
If you're looking for a venue that is not only beautiful and well-priced - but also friendly, supportive and kind - then Allerton Manor should be your first choice. I'm so sad it's all over - but eternally grateful that we got such a perfect day, and the memories will stay with myself and my husband forever.
