The Haybarn is a romantic barn-style wedding venue nestled in the glorious Golden Valley countryside in Hereford, Herefordshire. Offering elevated views towards the Black Mountains and Dulas Brook, this private, peaceful haven is ideal for an enchanting elopement or wedding celebration. With the support of a dedicated family team, you can be sure every element will be well taken care of, allowing you to savour each moment thoroughly.
Facilities and Capacity
Begin your perfect day at The Haybarn with a romantic ceremony in the wonderfully restored Cartshed. With its open sides and leafy surroundings, this outdoor setting gives you the option of exchanging vows with nothing but the peaceful sounds of the brook running alongside. Alternatively, you can instantly transform the Haybarn into a chic ceremony location with beautiful soft white drapes and warming old wood beams as your backdrop for your aisle. Renovated to emphasise its striking high ceilings and beams, this stunning space can also seat up to 140 guests for a wedding breakfast, plus an extra 60 standing for the reception. There are cosy corners for catching up and chilling out, a large bar area and plenty of space for dancing. Looking out over lush riverside reception spaces, the venue offers easy access to lawn games and a cosy fire pit for keeping warm at sundown. What's more, you will have endless photo opportunities on the farm between the Victorian Farmhouse, the historic mill, the apple orchards, and the old Oak swing.
Services Offered
At The Haybarn, you are free to host an entire weekend or mid-week celebration, with summer, winter and micro-wedding packages available. The family team is pleased to offer a personal, friendly service to help you and yours feel right at home. This includes lending the option of arriving the day before so you may enjoy the time decorating the barn in your own style while catching up with family and friends. A dedicated wedding coordinator will also be on hand from the minute you enquire right up to the day itself. To celebrate the best of the region's produce, you can avail of a recommended list of fantastic nearby caterers. An in-house drinks service is also included in the hire, with a wonderful array of drinks sourced from within 30 miles.

Such a gem!

Beautiful venue and incredibly organised team
We attended a wedding at the haybarn wedding venue as an external vendor coffee truck to serve coffee's to the wedding guests, the team at the haybarn were extremely accommodating and ensured that after i had been booked by the couple that i had the correct safe and legal documents they required, the venue itself is absolutely stunning with absolutely faultless grounds and a well organised team that will ensure the day runs absolutely perfectly, best wedding venue i have attended this year!

The Beautiful Haybarn
We had an amazing experience at the Haybarn. It had everything we wanted. The accommodation was lovely, the grounds were beautiful, the staff so helpful and relaxed, Helen was there if we needed her and Ann-Marie who ran the bar in the evening and was there the next morning to help get us on our way.
If you’re looking for a relaxed and beautiful venue (with Donkeys) with great accommodation, a beautiful Cart shed to get married in and a fantastic barn for your festivities, the Haybarn is perfect.

You won't find better
Our experience with the Haybarn was wonderful.
From the first viewing we fell in love with the venue and the wonderful people who run it - it is in a gorgeous setting, and the buildings and grounds are beautifully kept. The space is a beautiful canvas which you can use in so many ways and needs very little alteration to make it fit for a special occasion.
There's a fantastic crew there too happy to help with anything. We didn't get to meet them all sadly, but those we did were so warm and welcoming it was like being with family, and the guests had a great time chatting with the bar staff on the night, especially Red. Albert and Blossom (the donkeys) also stole the show and were raved about by all the guests.
We do need to say a particular thank you to Helen though. When we started planning our wedding we didn't know much about what we wanted or how to make it happen. Helen guided us through it all masterfully, and helped us work out how to weave in a few quirky details to make it truly our own. Her relaxed style set even the most nervous of us at ease, and she kept everything running smoothly so nobody noticed the few small hitches that cropped up on the day with music and timings.
We cannot say thank you enough to the Haybarn.

Magical venue with amazing team
This place is special. The venue’s surroundings are stunning, the barns are romantic and provide the perfect set up for a wedding. The Cart Shed with the stream running alongside is the most incredible place to say your vows. The extensive accommodation for guests is polished and flexible. The Haybarn team are all incredibly hardworking, diligent people, they went above and beyond to make sure our wedding went smoothly from booking to the big day.

Fantastic experience through and through!!!
It wasn't an easy task to find the venue for our wedding, but when we stumbled across the Haybarn, it seemed so easy. The venue itself is stunning, with amazing grounds and incredibly helpful staff.
Helen at the Haybarn helped coordinate our wedding and provided helpful documentation along the way to make the mammoth task of planning a wedding feel effortless. On the day (and the day before) Helen was punctual and organised to further ease the stress of the day.
The whole operation ran like clockwork and made our special day so relaxing and enjoyable. I cannot thank Helen and all of the staff involved enough for their help. A truly stunning place for any event.

The most incredible venue
We had so many compliments from our guests saying what an incredible venue The Haybarn is. It gave us the chance to split our day into an intimate family ceremony, followed by a huge lawn party with over 150 guests. It was perfect, and all in one beautiful setting.

The most perfect day!
Wow, where do I start? The Haybarn is the most perfect venue and all of our guests can’t stop talking about how incredible it was. The team were absolutely incredible and made us feel so at ease from start to finish, nothing was too much trouble. Becca, Louise and Emma all made us feel so welcome and it really felt like a home away from home for the whole weekend. We cannot thank you enough. The day was seamless, every detail was thought about and it was honestly the best day of our lives.

A beautiful and relaxed countryside venue
My wife and I first visited the Haybarn back in 2021 at the very beginning of our wedding planning. It happened to be the very first venue we visited and my wife immediately fell in love with the venue. I on the other hand wanted to do a little more research before making the final decision on where we wanted to get married. After we looked at a few other options, nothing else could match up to the beautiful and relaxed atmosphere we had found at The Haybarn. As a location for our wedding, it ticked all the boxes for us.
Both owners Rebecca and Emma, as well as coordinator Louise and the rest of the team have been fantastic and very accommodating throughout our wedding planning journey. Louise has such great experience and was wonderful to work with - from advising us during the initial planning stage and liaising with our suppliers (everything went off without a hitch) to welcoming our guests on the big day.
The venue didn’t need much decor as the restored barn and cartshed are so beautiful. We also loved the on-site accommodation as most of our family had to travel to the wedding (especially my wife’s family who came from Belgium). The bar stocking only local drink options was a nice touch and the cider made from the orchard was very much appreciated by our guests.
We would highly recommend the Haybarn for a wonderful day or weekend to remember.

Perfect wedding venue
We had our wedding here a few weeks ago and we could not have asked for a better day. From the start when we booked the venue up to the day of our wedding the staff at The Haybarn have been so friendly and willing to help. The venue is in a beautiful countryside setting and a very relaxed vibe which is exactly what we wanted. The whole process was stress free and enjoyable. We couldn't have picked a better venue for our special day.

Jelmer and I had a truly fantastic day and all our guests did to! The Haybarn is a beautiful venue- and felt really personal and authentic to get married on a family farm. The bridal squad appreciated the B&B breakfast with homemade jams and veggies from the garden and eggs from the chickens. We will cherish these memories of getting ready surrounded by our family and friends and getting married together on your farm.
The outdoor lawns with fire pits and little brook running through really lend themselves to a relaxed vibe where people can mingle and play games. Our guests loved the two Donkeys and chickens!!
The Haybarn was big enough for a Ceilidh -where almost all 120 guests did some barn dancing!
We appreciated all of Emma’s help and support- not only on the wedding day- where she was on hand to quietly check in but also on the lead-up to the big day with some helpful calls and check-ins. She had a warm relaxed calm personal style that helped to put us at ease and make the most out of planning our big day.
We had a wedding day that far surpassed our expectations in every way and the beautiful venue was a big part in contributing towards that. Thank you for making the start of our married life a magical one with your beautiful farm.

Fabulous venue
We had the day of our dreams at the Haybarn. It's a stunning venue and the staff were knowledgeable, lovely and helpful. They did everything they could to accommodate our reception being held outside despite the weather being uncertain, and the additional extras like having the donkeys Blossom & Albert and the quirks of the site being a working farm really makes the venue special and unique. We didn't hire companies for decoration or catering so we had to do a lot ourselves and were pretty much left to the set-up by the venue, so be aware that you will have to muck in unless you hire external companies (including taking away all rubbish the next day) - but the set-up was fun to do with our friends and made the day all the more personal. We had nothing but compliments from guests on how wonderful the venue was. Thank you to all involved at the Haybarn, we only hope we know someone in the future who gets married here so we can attend as guests without having to plan anything!
