Facilities and Capacity

The natural beauty of Epping Forest affords breathtaking views and fabulous photo opportunities. The Kings Oak Hotel has three magnificent function rooms licensed for civil ceremonies. Each is individually designed and finished to the very highest standards.

The Kings Room holds 120 seated guests or up to 200 standing guests. The adjoining air-conditioned Beach Club Marquee can accommodate 125 ceremony guests and 80 seated guests for your wedding breakfast or evening party. The Marquee overlooks the walled Pool Gardens, which boasts a tiki bar, Marbella-inspired champagne beds, and a 100-foot art deco lido pool with an original 1920s fountain.

Opening the bi-folding doors between the Kings Room and the Marquee creates additional event space, sufficient to accommodate up to 200 guests for a sit-down meal or 300 standing guests. The Victorian Oak Lounge has a cosy, more traditional aesthetic. It features ornate high ceilings, complete with chandeliers, and it can accommodate 80 seated ceremony guests, 50 for your wedding breakfast, and 80 for your evening party.

Alternatively, if you prefer a church wedding, the beautiful Church of the Holy Innocents is less than a mile away, so you needn't travel far to get from the church to your reception at the Kings Oak.
