The Minories is a unique and intimate wedding venue conveniently situated on Colchester High Street.

Facilities and Capacity
Wedding parties of up to 45 people will have exclusive use of our grade II listed Georgian building and gardens (including our 18th-century folly building) on their special day. We have a range of packages for different budgets, with in-house plant-led catering available as an add-on from our cafe, which is run by a local community cooperative.
Many of our beautifully bright and light period-style rooms are licenced and available for ceremonies of different sizes.

Environmental Responsibility
Our venue is perfect for environmentally-conscious couples who want their day to have the smallest possible environmental impact. We are a member of the Sustainable Wedding Alliance and work where possible with local and environmentally sustainable suppliers. We have a strong relationship with local environmentally responsible flower growers and florists, including Ardleigh Flowers, the Freckled Foxglove, Jordans Farm and Foliage and The Foraged Bouquet, all of whom can provide in-season blooms or dried flowers to decorate our beautiful building.
