Twilight weddings are perfect for couples looking for a more relaxed big ‘day’. Suppose you are looking to host an informal wedding an evening-only wedding reception at a luxury venue with accommodation might be just what you have been looking for.

Booking a shorter wedding day, by starting later in the day can save you money on food and drink but give you the celebration you are looking for. With no need for table plans, name cards, collecting food choices (although we will need dietary requirements), speeches, or favours, a twilight wedding is not about other people but is about you both getting dressed up and celebrating your marriage.

The timeline for a Twilight Wedding is different to a typical wedding. In that, you arrive at The Moat Barn and Tap Room from 5:00pm followed by a ceremony* or blessing* in the 15th Century Barn with drinks and canapes* in a secret courtyard garden or Tap Room to celebrate your 'I do!'.

After your drinks reception, continue to enjoy our gorgeous Tap Room with a full-on party with our resident DJ, whilst feasting on either our famous Grazing Table or delcious Evening Platters consisting of our popular Stonebaked Sourdough Pizza, Freshly Battered Cod & Chips or our Moat Sliders!

Retire to our brand new for 2024 Bridal Suite and invite guests to join resting your head with our 6, beautifully cozy, King Size Rooms.*
