Facilities and Capacity
The Parlour at Blagdon boasts two picturesque locations to tie the knot in true pastoral fashion. The Smithy is the property's rustic indoor ceremony space, with its exposed beams, brick walls, and festoon lighting offering the height of shabby-chic style. Here, you can host an intimate service surrounded by up to 90 of your nearest and dearest. Outside, the picturesque courtyard offers an alternative romantic setting where you can say 'I do' beneath blue skies and lush treetops. Next, guests can enjoy cocktails and canapes in the quirky Stables Bar while you capture your first moments as newlyweds. Meanwhile, the Willow Room offers an elegant setting for 90 family and friends to indulge in fine wines and creative dishes. After the festivities have come to a triumphant end, it's time to retreat to the gorgeous Bridal Suite, where you can enjoy a complimentary stay with a Full English Breakfast.

Perfect from start to finish
Where do I even start? i booked the Parlour 4 years ago for my wedding on 26th October and fell in love with the venue straight away. It was a wet and rainy day but the atmosphere of the venue was perfect. Over the years the Parlour has undergone loads of changes all of which I've loved. I've had loads of queries and chopped and changed my mind with things but everyone has been so helpful, supportive and nothing short of brilliant. We had the most perfect day with family and friends saying just how fantastic everything. The food was perfect and have had so many compliments. Special thank you to Naomi for answering the many many questions I've had over the years, Roxanne for getting the venue sorted in the morning and supporting us girls and to Maxine who was just phenomenal on the day at keeping me right and checking that the mascara was staying in place!!
The biggest of thank yous ever, I really couldn't have wished for a better venue to host our wedding day. Anyone that is considering the Parlour, 100% book it.

Truly magical
Our special day at the Parlour was just absolutely wonderful, we couldn’t have asked for more!
The team of staff are flawless, they kept me at ease, informed and supported on our day. The food, attention to detail, the rooms and the overall venue is just outstanding. We both felt the day went a smooth as it could have done and we felt special, thank you.

The perfect venue
From the moment we chose the parlour as our venue the staff went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect, nothing was to much trouble, they made our day more amazing than we could ever had imagined! The food was absolutely beautiful, the venue was stunning. We were made to feel so special by all of the staff. The cottage on site was the perfect setting for us to spen our first night as husbad and wife.

Perfect Wedding Day!
From our first visit to The Parlour we knew this was the perfect venue for us. All staff who we dealt with along the way could not have been more helpful guiding us through and answering any questions we had. Leading up to big day emails were answered so promptly which helped ease any stresses we had. Would highly recommend this amazing venue

Beautiful venue and excellent service
We have just had the wedding of our dreams at this beautiful venue. It has the perfect layout for an intimate and personal wedding. Everything just works perfectly and all the Parlour team are incredibly kind and helpful throughout the process.
There is a lot of scope for personalisation at this venue to make it exactly as you want. We were blown away by the all the delicious food options available (our guests just loved it). The venue itself is beautiful even before any decor comes in - STUNNING. We were fortunate to have good weather, but even in the rain, The Parlour works perfectly with it's well thought out indoor and outdoor layout.
We would recommend this venue to anyone. We had the perfect day. Many thanks to all the team and their attention to detail. A day to remember!

Wedding venue
We had our wedding at the parlour at Blagdon this month (August 2024) having booked it in 2022 and it was the most perfect day, the service was immaculate, the staff went above and beyond, they reassured us at every meeting that if we had any questions at any time they would be there to answer. The food was amazing! Every single guest complimented it.

Where can I begin? This wedding venue and the people who run it at phenomenal. I had a really difficult start to my year when my dad died. It threw my whole planning experience into complete disarray and I just didn’t know how I wanted my day to look anymore. Naomi was the most patient and kind person to communicate with about this and she gave me all of the time and advice that I needed to navigate such a difficult time.
Naomi made sure that when we were ready, she was able to give us the time we needed to plan our wedding the way we wanted it.
And wow, what a day. It was the most relaxed, colourful and happy experience. It was everything we needed after such a terrible time, the whole team went above and beyond to make sure the day ran smoothly and our guests were happy and well looked after.
The venue was immaculate and well ran and all
of the team were there to see me as I prepared to go down the aisle which I thought was so special!
If you are considering The Parlour then you will not regret it!

The parlour was absolutely amazing, the staff are so friendly and know what you want before you even think of it, the venue is gorgeous, so many different aspects to this venue, if you can't decide if you want indoors or outdoors this is the perfect venue for you

April shower wedding
We fell in love with the venue from the moment we saw it. We booked our wedding a year in advance to give ourselves plenty of time to plan and prepare everything. During this time the Parlour made quite a few upgrades and it was lovely to watch the venue bloom.
Our wedding day was on a very wet April Wednesday, which meant a few things had to be tweaked last minute and the staff were amazing about this.
We can honestly say this was the best day of our lives and everything went seamlessly despite the weather.
All the staff we meet at our meetings and on our special day were amazing. We had so many guests commenting on what a beautiful day it was and how fabulous the food was throughout the day.

09/02/24 - Our Wedding Day
Where do I start... from originally booking our wedding for 09/11/24 to pulling it forward to 09/02/24 with around 4 months notice, it was perfect & everything that we could've asked for.
The communication between the sales team and ourselves was second to none, they were always on hand, responding to emails (a special shoutout to Naomi).
The venue was so rustic in itself, you didn't really have to do much to it as you would a hotel or something similar, it's already so naturally beautiful. The converted 'Smithy' held such a special place in our hearts, meaning before we even went to view the venue, we were already set on booking and having our day there.
The food was tremendous, our guests absolutely loved our menu choices and loved them even more on the day when they got to sit down & have it served to them. The whole day was just as we'd imagined. A side note on breakfast the next day for guests that stayed overnight, again was beautiful & great quality.
The venue as a whole was tidy, clean, exactly as you'd expect. The bridal suite was spacious and I loved the fact you had a separate bathroom which again was very spacious.
We absolutely loved our day, like most we'd do it again in a heartbeat & I'd honestly say if you're considering the Parlour, look no further.

The Most Magical Winter Wedding in a Perfect Venue
Our winter wedding at the Parlour was simply perfect! The venue is gorgeous anyway but with snow on the ground and the Christmas trees all lit up for our wedding on the 2nd December, it looked even more magical. What makes the venue extra special however, is not the fixtures and fittings, or the delicious food, but the amazing team! From Naomi and the team in the sales office, to everyone who looked after us on the day, to the fabulous Roseanne our Master of Ceremonies, they could not be faulted. So attentive, so caring - world class hospitality!

The Parlour at Blagdon
The Parlour at Blagdon was the perfect venue for our mid afternoon wedding which continued on until midnight. The staff were amazing, attending to our every need and they made sure the day went smoothly. We had meetings with the Parlour staff leading up to the date, this allowed us to customise events and to make sure everything was set to plan. The venue is a welcoming and relaxing place to enjoy your day with guests using the three indoor areas and the courtyard outside. The picturesque grounds provide photo opportunities at every turn. We would definitely recommend this venue for weddings.
