Facilities and Capacity

Owners Josh and Holly Eggleton have recently restored The Pony Chew Valley, complete with a spectacular new venue. Their location is ideal for country breaks and destination weddings, situated only 30 minutes from Bristol and under two hours from London. With Chew Valley and Blagon Lakes just a short 10-minutes away, you can feel absolute tranquillity from the moment you arrive. The farmland offers acres of lovely scenes and backdrops to bring wedding photographs to life, including the newly landscaped gardens, bursting with newly planted beautiful flowers, trees, renovated sculpture, old water well and homegrown produce.

You can find the Garden Room at the back of the venue over looking the gardens and land. The view is 180 degrees of pure Chew Valley country side. The space is ideal for weddings of up to 110 guests seated, this versatile space allows both a full-sheltered or open venue feel with all the new double doors which open on to the decking into the gardens. The Garden Room comes fully heated to withstand any seasonal elements. The area can be easily transformed from a spacious banqueting hall to an electrifying reception space for 160 dancing guests.

Josh and Holly are also excited to build a bespoke menu with you inspired by the homegrown produce and adjusted to your tastes. With over 15 years of experience in event catering services, this culinary dream team is confident their food will be the highlight of your event. Placing immense importance on local suppliers and organic fare, award-winning chef Josh endeavours to deliver seasonal sharing feasts and tasting menus to complement your enchanting day.

Ceremonies

We are not licenced to conduct ceremonies at the venue. However, we do welcome couples to have a blessing in the gardens
