If you’re reading this and considering booking the Post Barn… DO IT. Seriously. The single most critical decision of our wedding planning process was to book the Post Barn as our venue. From the moment that arrived to the property for a tour, we knew it was the right place - modern yet classic and surrounded by green space and stunning gardens. And then when our guests got to experience it on our wedding day - they all told us the exact same.

They say that at the Post it’s personal and I couldn’t agree with that more. They ensured we had the best day of our lives and helped us customise it as well so it truly felt like OUR day. From the planning process where they helped guide us through what we needed to have done by when, to helping to liaise with our vendors in the immediate run up to the day, and then making us feel so incredibly looked after on the wedding day - I can’t emphasise how important the Post Barn team were to helping us achieve the wedding of our dreams. We really floated through the day with no concerns because we knew the team was on top of it.

And then I also need to sing the praises for the food (we’ve had guests tell us that it was genuinely the best wedding food they’ve ever had), our experience coming to do the tasting ahead of time, the cocktails, the service staff, etc. The whole day was executed flawlessly.

The biggest, most heart felt thank yous to the whole team at the Post Barn - Kate, Daisy, etc. You all are incredible. Thanks for giving us the best day of our lives.

We had the most wonderful experience with the Post Barn staff. Even though we booked fairly far in advance, which meant a few staff changes up until our wedding, the whole team provided a seamless service from start to finish. Every member of the team here is positive, kind, supportive; they were professional, knowledgeable and responsive, and made us feel completely unique, even though they cater weddings all the time! No request seemed to be too silly or troublesome and they accommodated absolutely everything that we wanted - such as setting up our ceremony in Snelsmore House, which hadn't been done before - so our wedding felt completely ours. As a couple who are not used to planning big events, let alone being in the middle of them, this really meant a lot to us, and the Post Barn team's kind support and encouragement, schedule of meetings and events etc, played such a big part in getting us excited for what was, in the end, the most perfect day.

Special shout-out must also be given to the chefs as the food was EXCELLENT. Several of our guests said it was the best wedding meal they have ever had and that was definitely the case for us. There was a lot leftover and, without the option to take leftovers away, I would (in hindsight) have catered for fewer people. I cannot fault on the value for money, though, as the drinks were equally plentiful! The one thing we really wanted to ensure was that our guests enjoyed fabulous food and wine and the Post Barn absolutely delivered on this. I could not recommend them more!

The Post Barn venue is absolutely incredible! From the moment we pulled up out the front for our first viewing we fell in love with it. The barn is set up perfectly for an indoor and outdoor ceremony. The gardens are beautiful, so well maintained and the flowers are gorgeous. The food was so so good - we received so many compliments about this! The staff are so attentive and have incredible attention to detail. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a modern barn wedding!

Not quite sure where to begin with this review because there are not enough words for us to sum up how amazing The Post and all the staff are… we could not be any more full of beans if we tried!

The moment my now husband and I stepped into the venue, we knew it was “The One.” It is a simply beautiful venue, where contemporary meets classic, and we knew instantly that it was the place we wanted to celebrate our love. The space says so much without needing to add too much frippery; it is elegant and classy and can quite easily be transformed into anything the couple would like. So many of our guests commented on how fantastic a venue it was.

However, despite the beautiful building and surroundings, it is the staff that we absolutely fell in love with. From the very first moment that we inconspicuously knocked on the door without an appointment and were warmly greeted inside by Katie, to the menu tasting, the planning meeting and all of the communication in between, they were simply incredible. Daisy and Kate meeting us upon our arrival from the church on our wedding day was simply wonderful - we felt that they were living it with us and that our day was the only wedding to have ever happened at The Post, which is exactly how you want to feel on the best day of your life. Everybody that worked on the day of our wedding and everyone that helped us along the way cannot be faulted and it genuinely felt like we were leaving having made friends with them all. Even writing this makes us emotional when I think of how invested they were and how they executed our vision for the day expertly. They even found a very important and sentimental handkerchief that had been misplaced in the furore of the day (there was quite the panic when we realised this was missing) My husband was so emotional when he was reunited with it a week later, all thanks to the staffs’ meticulous professionalism and attention to detail. When they handed it over to us, Daisy said “We’ve got your back”, and this is exactly how it was throughout our entire wedding journey.

The food was incredible - so many guests commented on this, along with how beautiful the venue is and how amazing the staff were. The sun shone gloriously for us and we were able to make the most of the immaculate grounds and beautiful fairy lights. We could go on and on… it was just magical from start to finish.

Thank you, The Post, for everything - these words do not do our feelings justice and we will forever hold The Post and you all in our hearts. It was simply the greatest day of our lives and it ran so smoothly all thanks to your expertise, care and genuine love for the couples that you support.

We can’t wait to gate crash a wedding just so we can see you all.

The Post had everything we wanted for our wedding and more. The modern barn-style venue gives a countryside feel while being well-connected, easy to find, and with plenty of accommodation close by. There is also a getting ready room just across the lawn from The Post which was so ideal! It took the stress off of timing and breakfast is even provided so all you need to do is rock up.
The team and the service they provide are spectacular. In the build-up to our wedding, Katie and Poppy were responsive and so helpful while being extremely calm - which was exactly the support we needed to help us prepare for our big day. On the day itself, the team was nothing short of perfect. They were friendly, attentive, and organised, and made the day happen with the perceived look of ease so you are able to relax and enjoy!
Lastly, the food is absolutely incredible. We had a tasting session 6 months beforehand and we honestly struggled to choose our dishes because they were all so delicious. In the end, we chose the ham hock for the starter, duck for the main, and chocolate torte for dessert. We had a fair few vegan guests so the chef made something that worked alongside our choices. Needless to say, all the food was a smash hit, and we still have our guests messaging us about how wonderful it was 6 weeks on!

Wow what an incredible venue and amazing team. The venue is super modern, stylish and full of light. If you are looking for a barn with a unique twist this is the place for you. It is situated on the grounds of The Donnington Hotel and Spa which allows guests to stay over, play golf, use the spa or just continuo the celebrations. An extra special thank you to Katie who was our first point of call and there through every step of the planning. She is beyond organised and made sure everything went to plan on our big day. Food is so important to us and head chief Darren didn’t disappoint. Such a genuine guy and his passion shines through everything he creates. Thank you all, we wish we could do it all over again.

Lovely venue and experience. Very busy weekend for the hotel but the whole process and celebrations went without a problem. Very pleased.

Our wedding at The Post Barn was nothing short of perfection! The venue itself and surrounding grounds are absolutely stunning and immaculate, which couldn't be more perfect for an outdoor wedding. The coordinators were all outstanding, right from our first consultation to the wedding day itself. Their attention to detail was brilliant, nothing was too much to ask and everything was executed flawlessly. We really felt like royalty! I couldn't recommend The Post Barn highly enough for an unforgettable wedding experience! Huge thank you for the whole team!

Such a beautiful space, the day flows really smoothly between areas and it gives people enough room to explore and socialise. The staff were brilliant on the day, I didn't have to worry about anything, they set everything up exactly as I had planned and sorted out any issues without even making me aware!

We got married at The Post Barn in late September and absolutely loved it! The day ran perfectly and the team were so professional. The barn is beautiful and we had so many compliments from our guests. The only point we would make is that everything seemed to be an additional cost but expect that’s something that’s quite common with all wedding venues!

Great staff that accommodated all needs/request to provide a perfect day at an amazing venue. Photo opportunities were great and all our guests had an amazing day.
