Facilities and Capacity
The Potters Heron is home to three delightful event suites that are bright, airy, and welcoming, providing a beautiful backdrop for any floral display or colour scheme. They are licenced to host civil ceremonies and receptions for up to 150 guests. You can celebrate with close family and friends the night before the wedding in the restaurant. Or, you can extend the celebrations and enjoy a proper Sunday Lunch the next day. At the end of your celebration, your guests can retire to one of the 53 well-appointed bedrooms. You and your party will get preferential rates on rooms and a well-stocked recovery breakfast buffet the following day, giving you the chance to catch up with everyone and compare notes with loved ones.

From an intimate affair to guests everywhere, their on-site experienced wedding coordinator will work with you to organise every tiny detail for what will be one of the most important days of your life. You'll work with their chef to design the perfect menu for your guests, and the bar team can pair your food choices with a fantastic range of drinks. Their dedicated events team will take care of everything you need throughout the celebration with big smiles and a happy attitude. If you want exclusive use of the hotel function rooms and all 53 bedrooms, you can rent the entire property from the beginning of the ceremony until checkout the following morning. There is no need to book hotels for your guests, find taxis, or end the party early. Your guests will enjoy the luxury of having a lie-in and a delicious cooked breakfast the following day. The Potters Heron also offers a range of other wedding packages to suit any budget and will assist you in choosing the best local suppliers. There is ample parking available for all guests and even room for a horse and carriage at the entrance.

Wedding planning made simple!
Communication was fantastic throughout and I knew I only had to send Rachel an email whenever questions popped up along the way and it would be answered. We loved our food, the wine selections, choice of food for buffet and we were never made to feel like we were just another wedding booking of the busy summer period. Our needs were taken into account to enable the whole day to run smoothly and all of the staff were so friendly and welcoming to not only us but our guests too. The venue and its staff gave a real feeling of 'family' working together and this was really nice to experience on such a personal day.
Cannot rate this venue and its staff better, and thank you for making the biggest aspect of our special day the easiest part to plan!
