Facilities and Capacity

Recite your wedding vows surrounded by lush greenery and tall trees before making your way indoors as a married couple. The interior perfectly blends the romantic and charming aesthetic of an English country setting with an elegant contemporary style. Two reception rooms are available at The Priest House Hotel, with spaces ideal for either a large, traditional wedding or even a more intimate gathering with your loved ones. These can also host your ceremony. Both are decorated in a neutral style, making them a perfect canvas for you to be as imaginative and creative as you wish. The Garden Suite is ideal for ceremonies of 20 to 100 guests. This lovely, bright room boasts beautiful beams and is decorated with fairy lights for an added romantic sparkle. When celebrating in The Garden Suite, you can use either The Terrace Room for photo booths and food service or the large private garden area complete with patio for an outdoor barbeque or hog roast. The Riverside Suite is a magnificent, spacious room that can accommodate up to 120 of your loved ones, and features a gorgeous view of the River Trent. You and your new spouse will be able to use one of the beautifully furnished honeymoon suites for your wedding night.

Perfection from start to finish!

As soon as Sammy took over as our wedding co-ordinator, everything went perfectly! She was always so helpful and would go out of her way to make sure everything was perfect for us, as did everyone else working at the PH on the day of our wedding! The setting is absolutely beautiful, the food was amazing and they catered perfectly for so many allergies/intolerances. We couldn't have asked for more from them. We really can't recommend this venue enough for your wedding!

The pre wedding party service and support during the evening were excellent. Helen at The Priest House was excellent - she accommodated all our requests, was always prompt and friendly with her replies and the night went superbly. All of our guests thought the venue and the food were excellent - we chose the BBQ menu - very good and plenty of food. Thank you Priest House!

Mr and Mrs Fish

I came across Priest House and unexpectedly, the open day was the day after I had shown my now husband. My husband knew, as soon as we arrived, I loved it, it is a venue out of a fairy-tale. It is away from busy roads, only our wedding would be running on the day, the package was ideal, many personalisation options to create our special day, and do not forget about the water wheel and the river; a stunning backdrop to our wedding day.

The staff were, what we would like to call, on it like a car bonnet. There were no breaks in between servings and it didn’t look like any of our guests were waiting for food; our guests have all commented saying they’ve never been to a wedding or a party with SO much food before. I honestly cannot thank all of the staff enough and the wedding coordinators, Sammy and Grace, for their help, really went above and beyond.

We have heard so many horror stories of weddings with some or many things going wrong, but I can say for sure, nothing went wrong at all, I cannot fault anything, the process and the day itself was absolutely perfect, everything fell into place, from the organisation of the team to the quality of the food and drink.

The best day of our lives, an amazing celebration with our family and close friends.

Our Wedding Saturday 2nd June 2018

This is a beautiful venue. With the weather on our side we were married at the Priest House on the 2nd June 2018. The planning for the wedding was expertly handled by Sammi. Any requests / amendments were never an issue and the day itself pretty much went to plan. One thing that could spoil any day regardless of venue would have been the staff attitude / service provided. I am very happy to say that the staff at the Priest House are an absolute credit to the Management Team, they were superstars over the weekend with special thanks to Dean, Jack, Chris and Carole on Reception. All our guests commented on the staff and how helpful and friendly they were.

Absolutely Amazing Day

We had an absolutely amazing day on Saturday.
Well, what can I say except for the most sincere and heartfelt thanks to all the staff at the Priest House.
The service we received was outstanding, beyond our wildest dreams. The venue and their staff were faultless, nothing was too much trouble and they were exceptional.
Then of course we come to Samantha the wedding planner, She is such a kind, caring and helpful professional, she is a real asset to the venue, or for that matter any venue.
Everything we asked for happened and we really did have the dream day. We have both said that we would have further events at the hotel.
A massive thank you to the staff and pass on my comments about your hard work to the owner.

We loved our wedding at the Priest House Hotel. The setting was beautiful on a lovely summer's day. It was secluded and private, and very romantic. The staff were helpful and we had a lovely day. However there were some problems. The venue was understaffed on the day, there was poor communication between wedding planner and other hotel staff, which resulted in us being overcharged for 3 rooms (we were refunded), some of the food was cold by the time it was served to guests, with a collection of other small mistakes. We loved our day and in the sun it was a wonderful wedding venue but the customer service did undermine some of its qualities.

Perfect wedding at the perfect venue!

We had our wedding reception in the Garden Suite of The Priest House on the 25th July 2013. The venue is absolutely beautiful, the food was gorgeous and every single member of staff was friendly, professional and went out of their way to make our day perfect! All of our guests said how wonderful the staff were. Amazing!

Couldn't have asked for more

Our wedding took place in February 2012 at The Priest House and was a fabulous day. We cannot fault the hotel and the staff who looked after us impeccably from our first enquiry right through until check out the day after the wedding. Our guests have all commented on what a lovely wedding it was and even our photographer noted how friendly and helpful the staff were. Such a picturesque, romantic setting and we got snow!!

Fantastic Venue

We were so happy we chose the Priest House for our November 2009 wedding. Service was first class - all staff extremely friendly and helpful each time we visited and to all our guests on the day. My mum went the day before to prepare all our floral arrangements and table decorations, which I think was a rare for them and a room had been especially reserved for her. Staff were very attentive, making tea, fetching extra tables, providing any facilities she needed and taking a keen interest!

The day was perfect - the rooms all looked beautiful, the food was fantastic (people commented that the yorkshire pud and vanilla cheesecake were the best they had tasted), the atmosphere was relaxed but elegant (until the dancing got underway in the evening!). We were also allocated a separate room the next morning so we could have breakfast together and spend time saying goodbye.

We had a very modest budget and I had begun to give up hope of finding a special venue within our price range but the Priest House introduced some excellent packages just in time and were extremely flexible with regard to what these could include. The wedding co-ordinator was always a pleasure to deal with - very approachable and kept telling us it was our day and we could have things exactly as we wanted. So we were able to have a beautiful wedding at a beautiful venue. We were so impressed with the hotel I wanted to give them a glowing review and I really hope future couples have as positive and stress free an experience as we did!

Beautiful location, fantastic staff

We were married here last July and loved every minute of our day.
What more can I say? The staff were fantastic- very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, even for a fussy veggie :)
The honeymoon suite was ace. Book it now.

Absolutely perfect

I'm so happy we made the decision to have our reception here as it was perfect in every way shape and form - a truly magical day. Food was glorious, setting fantastic and the honeymoon suite...well worth it!

Great location

The hotel is set in a fantastic location and the food etc. was first class. We stayed overnight and the rooms in the main building are amazing - 42 inch plasma TV and DVD player.
