Wonderful day, beautifully organised
We chose to have our wedding at The Ravenswood. In fact, it was the first and only venue we looked at. We fell in love with it right away. The grounds and building were simply stunning - bursting with character.
In the build-up to our big day, the staff and Molly, our wedding coordinator, were extremely attentive. They dived into the details when needed. Everything was done in a timely fashion and they were always on hand to answer our questions, however trivial. I can’t recall any real hitches.
Our wedding day was our vision brought to life. The ceremony ran smoothly. We were lucky to have chosen a dry Winters day which allowed us to get some beautiful couple shots around the grounds. We were blown away by the stunning backdrops, before heading back inside for a wonderful dinner service. The food was hearty and tasty. Nobody left hungry! All of our guests, both daytime and reception, commented on the charming architecture. Adding how much they enjoyed themselves. As for the hospitality, the Honeymoon suite was excellent value for money.
I’d 100% recommend the Ravenswood to any couple!

What a day!
We had the most amazing experience, nothing was too much trouble and we had the most perfect day! Our coordinator Molly took care of everything, from our pre-meet and sorting all the details, to being everywhere we needed on our actual day. We chose the venue for the way they do their pricing (all inclusive package with no hidden costs) combined with the stunning scenery and rooms. Food was amazing, and so much of it, no one went hungry! They catered well for our guests, and groom, with multiple food allergies, and they even have gluten free beer which was a winner! The only downside is that everything was over so quickly! We cannot thank the Ravenswood team enough for giving us the best day we could have hoped for!

Our dream wedding made into reality
From viewing The Ravenswood through to booking the venue and then our wedding EVERYTHING was a smooth and hugely enjoyable experience. Nothing was ever too much. Dawn our wedding coordinator was outstanding. She took care of all the fine details on the day and made sure we were well fed and watered. We had a problem and stress free wedding because the staff at the Ravenswood have perfected their craft. The venue itself is breathtakingly beautiful and we have the BEST wedding photos.

Most special day of our lives!
My husband and I got married there last week (Dec 4th) and it really was the most special day of our lives! From start to finish it was smooth and enjoyable thanks to the help of all the staff at the Ravenswood, especially Natalie our wedding coordinator. If anyone was meant to do a job like that it's Natalie! She has the perfect mix of warmth with a friendly nature mixed with complete competence in arranging all the finer details!
The Ravenswood is the most beautiful wedding venue I've ever seen and all our family and friends were honestly blown away with it! The Ravenswood was perfect for our cosy, romantic Christmas wedding! The twinkling lights everywhere, the fireplaces, the old gorgeous grounds were some highlights for me.
All of our guests said how amazing the food was and we agreed! My mum, who can be hard to please was most delighted by the service and the meals that came out of hot plates.
The honeymoon suite was absolutely beautiful and amazing to have that included in the package and then to wake up and have breakfast with all our guests the following morning was the icing on the cake!
I cannot praise the Ravenswood enough and I wish we could do it all again!!!!
If you're considering this venue, I would say do not hesitate, you won't be disappointed!!!

The most perfect day!
We knew as soon as we visited The Ravenswood that it was the Wedding venue for us! We had the most perfect day thanks to our wonderful Wedding planner and all the staff who went above and beyond to make it special for us. We honestly couldn't have asked for more. Thank you

Cozy Autumn Wedding
We had our wedding at The Ravenswood in October 2024 and it was a lovely experience. We were given our own wedding Coordinator, Katie, and she was brilliant at helping to guide us through all the preparations involved. All our guests remarked on how professional, yet friendly the staff at The Ravenswood were. On the day of the wedding all the bar staff were attentive, and very organised. The food at the wedding breakfast was really tasty and delivered to us at the perfect temperature. The grounds of The Ravenswood are stunning and clearly well managed. Unfortunately the weather was mostly rain on our wedding day, however the interiors of Ravenswood are equally as stunning. With the help of the staff, who lit the fires in the ceremony room and turned on all the twinkling fairy lights we had the perfect cozy autumnal wedding. In the evening after a lovely day we headed to our honeymoon suite, which was a peaceful retreat from the busy day, we even had some wedding cake cut up and left in our suite for us to enjoy! Would highly recommend The Ravenswood and thank them for all their hard work.

Our Magical Ravenswood Wedding
We cannot fault anything about the Ravenswood. Even if there was the slightest imperfection (which I cannot recall) then it would have been nothing but perfectly imperfect! The team at Ravenswood should be nothing but proud of the absolute professionalism and attentiveness they provide their couples. We had the most magical day and I would recommend the Ravenswood over and over again. In particular, to our coordinator Natalie, we could not have done it without her. From the moment we had our first email from her and then met her and had our final details meeting… to the moment we left the day after our wedding she could not have been more amazing and supportive. She was and is an absolute credit to the Ravenswood. Every single member of staff we encountered was helpful, smiling and could not have done more to make our experience the joy that it was. The value for money was incredible. Thank you again and again for the best wedding experience we could have asked for (including the food which we had nothing but compliments about!)

Amazing service and amazing food!!
The Ravenswood team were amazing from start to finish! From the planning phase, Natalie (the co-ordinator) was always on hand to answer any questions and noted down literally everything in our final details meeting. Her attention to detail was incredible and our wedding wouldn't have been as amazing without her! We had Kate as the person in charge for the evening and she was equally as amazing! She helped with taking everything up to our room and even got us to go outside to get a picture with the northern lights! We would never have got that picture without her! All of our guests complimented how delicious the food was, from the camembert and fish and chips for canapes to the main dinner and the pulled pork baps in the evening! There was not one fault the whole day, and our day truly wouldn't have been the same without the whole team being amazing! Please give a huge thank you to all of the team who made our day so special, especially to Natalie and Kate!!♥️

Gay wedding
We had our wedding at this venue 3/10/24.
Firstly, for two women, it is extremely daunting to attend venues, as even though it is 2024 there is still prejudice in the world. HOWEVER, from the moment we attended the venue we felt at ease, we felt no different from any other couple. This is a massive 5 STARS.
The venue is everything you could want and more. It is a stunning setting and beautiful grounds.
The staff... what can we say, if you could give a venue a 100 percent review, then this is the place. EVERY single member of staff were amazing, friendly and xouldnt do enough for all the guests. In fact all our guests have not stopped saying how amazing the staff were. They made the day perfect.
We cannot Thank the Ravenswood enough for a great day, organisation, staff and everything that did for us. Nothing was too big or to small.
They do need to advertise the LGBT friendliness of this venue too.

The best day of our lives ❤️
We had the best day from start to finish. Everything we dreamed of and more. They listened to every detail of what we wanted and went with it. They looked after us in more ways than one. I would recommend this venue to any couple who are looking for the perfect venue.

Simply the best Wedding Venue
Following our wedding earlier this month, we simply have to say thank you to Molly and the team at The Ravenswood. We work in the events industry, so were very picky when it came to vendors for our wedding, and we absolutely did not go wrong with this place. Its stunning to look at, with numerous well-thought out spaces for amazing photos and guest experiences, but in addition the team behind the space know exactly what they are doing. Always responsive, with a close attention to detail during the day, the team simply make your wedding magical. The food is superb, and plentiful. The onsite accommodation means the majority of guests can stay - we catered for over 100 guests and had about 60 stay, which is un-matched when you take in to account the gorgeous site. Our guests continue to rave about our day, and we couldn't have wished for anything more - well, actually, maybe just that we wish we could do it all over again! Exceptional
The communication is fantastic. Our wedding coordinator Natalie was another level.. she was amazing! Stunning venue. Our guests were blown away and kept asking us how we found this venue! The day went for too quickly to even have a chance to soak up all the amazing things they have to offer. You won’t be disappointed.

The perfect venue
What to say….they gave us the most wonderful wedding day. It is a beautiful venue and the team there are exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble, from the moment we booked to them checking in with us after our big day. We would highly recommend The Ravenswood to any couples looking to book their special day.

The perfect day
From start to finish the venue and the team were incredible. Naturally using various suppliers for different things we expected a blip (or two) on the day - but the entire day was perfect. Nat and the team really went above and beyond. The grounds and the venue itself is stunning so we have some BEAUTIFUL photos from our day - and I wish we could do it all over again!

We got married on Saturday 6th July 2024, we had the most magical day from start to finish!
From the moment we had a viewing at the Ravenswood, we knew it was the venue for us! The grounds are amazing, and we knew we would be able to get some exceptional photos there.The staff were very welcoming, always answered any questions we had no matter how silly or small we thought they were, there was always someone on hand to help us with our enquiry.
A special shout out to our wedding coordinator, Katie, she is unreal and unbelievably excellent at what she does from the littlest things, to the major things, she does it without any issues. No problem is too big or small for her, always willing to help as and when/where she can! Katie is an asset to the Ravenswood!
We would 1000000% recommend this venue without fail!
