We have two stunning indoor options for your ceremony with a grand fireplace in our Baronial Hall or a more modern touch in our Jacobean Suite. With options for indoor and outdoor ceremonies all year round, we cater for all British weather!

The most perfect day!
We knew as soon as we visited The Ravenswood that it was the Wedding venue for us! We had the most perfect day thanks to our wonderful Wedding planner and all the staff who went above and beyond to make it special for us. We honestly couldn't have asked for more. Thank you

Cozy Autumn Wedding
We had our wedding at The Ravenswood in October 2024 and it was a lovely experience. We were given our own wedding Coordinator, Katie, and she was brilliant at helping to guide us through all the preparations involved. All our guests remarked on how professional, yet friendly the staff at The Ravenswood were. On the day of the wedding all the bar staff were attentive, and very organised. The food at the wedding breakfast was really tasty and delivered to us at the perfect temperature. The grounds of The Ravenswood are stunning and clearly well managed. Unfortunately the weather was mostly rain on our wedding day, however the interiors of Ravenswood are equally as stunning. With the help of the staff, who lit the fires in the ceremony room and turned on all the twinkling fairy lights we had the perfect cozy autumnal wedding. In the evening after a lovely day we headed to our honeymoon suite, which was a peaceful retreat from the busy day, we even had some wedding cake cut up and left in our suite for us to enjoy! Would highly recommend The Ravenswood and thank them for all their hard work.

Amazing service and amazing food!!
The Ravenswood team were amazing from start to finish! From the planning phase, Natalie (the co-ordinator) was always on hand to answer any questions and noted down literally everything in our final details meeting. Her attention to detail was incredible and our wedding wouldn't have been as amazing without her! We had Kate as the person in charge for the evening and she was equally as amazing! She helped with taking everything up to our room and even got us to go outside to get a picture with the northern lights! We would never have got that picture without her! All of our guests complimented how delicious the food was, from the camembert and fish and chips for canapes to the main dinner and the pulled pork baps in the evening! There was not one fault the whole day, and our day truly wouldn't have been the same without the whole team being amazing! Please give a huge thank you to all of the team who made our day so special, especially to Natalie and Kate!!♥️

Gay wedding
We had our wedding at this venue 3/10/24.
Firstly, for two women, it is extremely daunting to attend venues, as even though it is 2024 there is still prejudice in the world. HOWEVER, from the moment we attended the venue we felt at ease, we felt no different from any other couple. This is a massive 5 STARS.
The venue is everything you could want and more. It is a stunning setting and beautiful grounds.
The staff... what can we say, if you could give a venue a 100 percent review, then this is the place. EVERY single member of staff were amazing, friendly and xouldnt do enough for all the guests. In fact all our guests have not stopped saying how amazing the staff were. They made the day perfect.
We cannot Thank the Ravenswood enough for a great day, organisation, staff and everything that did for us. Nothing was too big or to small.
They do need to advertise the LGBT friendliness of this venue too.

The best day of our lives ❤️
We had the best day from start to finish. Everything we dreamed of and more. They listened to every detail of what we wanted and went with it. They looked after us in more ways than one. I would recommend this venue to any couple who are looking for the perfect venue.

Simply the best Wedding Venue
Following our wedding earlier this month, we simply have to say thank you to Molly and the team at The Ravenswood. We work in the events industry, so were very picky when it came to vendors for our wedding, and we absolutely did not go wrong with this place. Its stunning to look at, with numerous well-thought out spaces for amazing photos and guest experiences, but in addition the team behind the space know exactly what they are doing. Always responsive, with a close attention to detail during the day, the team simply make your wedding magical. The food is superb, and plentiful. The onsite accommodation means the majority of guests can stay - we catered for over 100 guests and had about 60 stay, which is un-matched when you take in to account the gorgeous site. Our guests continue to rave about our day, and we couldn't have wished for anything more - well, actually, maybe just that we wish we could do it all over again! Exceptional
The communication is fantastic. Our wedding coordinator Natalie was another level.. she was amazing! Stunning venue. Our guests were blown away and kept asking us how we found this venue! The day went for too quickly to even have a chance to soak up all the amazing things they have to offer. You won’t be disappointed.

The perfect venue
What to say….they gave us the most wonderful wedding day. It is a beautiful venue and the team there are exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble, from the moment we booked to them checking in with us after our big day. We would highly recommend The Ravenswood to any couples looking to book their special day.

The perfect day
From start to finish the venue and the team were incredible. Naturally using various suppliers for different things we expected a blip (or two) on the day - but the entire day was perfect. Nat and the team really went above and beyond. The grounds and the venue itself is stunning so we have some BEAUTIFUL photos from our day - and I wish we could do it all over again!

Magical Day 6th July 2024
I mean where do I even start …
We got married on Saturday 6th July 2024, we had the most magical day from start to finish!
From the moment we had a viewing at the Ravenswood, we knew it was the venue for us! The grounds are amazing, and we knew we would be able to get some exceptional photos there.The staff were very welcoming, always answered any questions we had no matter how silly or small we thought they were, there was always someone on hand to help us with our enquiry.
A special shout out to our wedding coordinator, Katie, she is unreal and unbelievably excellent at what she does from the littlest things, to the major things, she does it without any issues. No problem is too big or small for her, always willing to help as and when/where she can! Katie is an asset to the Ravenswood!
We would 1000000% recommend this venue without fail!

Wonderful Ravenswood
We loved the Ravenswood. Our day went by so quickly and without stress. Our coordinator Dawn, was fantastic and we couldn’t thank her enough for organising the perfect day and ensuring we had the best time possible. All the staff were great and our guests all said how wonderful it was. Thanks so much.

Beautiful venue, excellent service
We both absolutely loved our wedding day at The Ravenswood and were blown away by how great they were. Katie, our wedding coordinator, was brilliant and we felt in very safe hands. She took away the stress, answered our questions and executed our instructions for decoration personalisations perfectly. Everything went smoothly, the delicious food came out promptly and all recommended suppliers worked really well together. Many of our guests commented how amazing the venue was and how great the day went. If we could do it all again we would!

A dream come true
I cannot put into words how amazing the Ravenswood are with weddings. It was the most flawless and stress free process and the day ran like clockwork. Everything was as I imagined and more and the staff and coordinators were outstanding. I couldn’t think of a better place to get married. They did absolutely everything to make sure the day was perfect and nothing was too big or small to ask for. They made everything personal and made sure every detail was perfect.
It was a dream come true and I wouldn’t change anything. Thank you Ravenswood for being part of the best day of our lives ❤️

The most amazing day
We had the most incredible wedding day at the Ravenswood on 28/09/2023. As soon as we were engaged I knew I wanted to get married at the Ravenswood, in fact we didn't even bother looking anywhere else! The venue itself is stunning, the grounds are beautiful, the staff are all incredible and the food is delicious. I felt as well it was really good value for money. Molly was our wedding coordinator and was absolutely fantastic and so efficient; emails were always answered promptly by Molly or another member of the team, nothing was too much trouble for the team and everyone that works there is polite, friendly and hard working. I didn't feel stressed with wedding planning at any stage and it was such an enjoyable process at the Ravenswood! The day itself went off without a hitch, we felt really well looked after and like we could just relax and enjoy our day. The only thing I'm sad about is I wish we could do it all again! We had the best day and we know from our guests that they really enjoyed themselves too which is so lovely to hear. A massive thank you to Molly and all of the incredible staff at the Ravenswood, you really did make our day so special. With love, Mr & Mrs Brown xxx

Dream wedding!
Everything about our wedding from the planning to the day itself was so perfectly planned and executed with every help from the staff at the Ravenswood and our amazing wedding coordinator Molly. We could not have asked for a better experience with The Ravenswood.
The weather so so beautiful and sunny and just added to the natural beauty around the venue.
The food was AMAZING! And for any bride or groom who worries they may forget or not have time to eat or drink, trust me, Molly kept us well supplied with both! Especially on such a hot day like it was on our wedding day!
