The Reid rooms is an exceptional venue, with an amazing attention detail and a personalised care that means you don’t need to worry about a thing.

We booked the venue back in winter 2022 with a date of the 27th April 24. We are a same sex couple so needed a venue where the ceremony and reception could be in one place and that we also felt at ease with. We booked with a lady called Gill, who we saw many times again over the following months as we went back to venue on open days etc. Gill to our great joy approached us and asked if she could coordinate our wedding on the day, which of course we jumped at and we were so pleased we did. Gill’s calm approach and the turn to detail made the day just glide through even when the heavens opened and our drinks reception had to be moved indoors at the last moment. Gill had a plan for all eventualities and which meant we could sit back and enjoy the day with our guests.

As I mentioned our wedding day weather wasn’t the best, overcast and rainy, we were concerned about our drinks reception and how the day would flow with not being able to have the reception in the courtyard, however, when this was moved to the bar the atmosphere in the room was electric. We had a serviced bar all day and some drink brought in ourselves and the balance worked really well. Do not be put off this Venus of your are a winter, autumn, or in our case spring wedding and the weather could be dodgy.

Additional shout outs to the lovely Corinne who dealt with our queries and questions so well and gave us some great advice with our (very full, 106 seater) seating plan layout. The amazing bar staff and the team in the farmhouse.

The Reid Rooms was the only venue my partner and I visited before booking for our big day. The site itself is so beautiful, and the farmhouse for guests is charming and comfortable. It ticked all the boxes for budget, appearance and service. Leading up to and on our wedding day, that service really came through as the coordinators helped us navigate complicated road closures and the loss of our waitress on the day itself. Angie and Jill went above and beyond to ensure our wedding ran smoothly without causing any stress to ourselves, and Corinne has been fantastic at fielding endless emails with questions. The team were amazingly flexible with my absolute determination to get married outside, despite very temperamental weather, and ran off their feet to make it happen as soon as the skies cleared. I truly believe that choosing this venue is what made all of the build up and stress worth it, as our wedding day was absolutely stunning and (to us) felt like it ran like a dream, despite all the hiccups. Thank you so much to the Reid Rooms team for giving us such a beautiful day.

From start to finish, the reid rooms were incredible and supportive. Lucy our co-ordinator was an angel, she made me feel so at ease and helped from the ceremony to the wedding reception.

The Reid Rooms was the first venue that we visited and we immediately loved it, even having only seen it in the rain. We truly had the most wonderful experience at the Reid Rooms - the venue had so much character and beautiful spaces to use at various points during the day, especially the garden and courtyard area. We had an intimate wedding with 50 guests, which felt very comfortable in the space. The staff were spectacular and attentive from the very first meeting - responses were always quick and thorough, the service on the day was seamless and our wedding co-ordinator was extremely helpful. They have a caterer that they work with, but we opted for completely dry hire. Organising hire of crockery and linen was easy using a company that often work with the Reid Rooms. We were able to bring in our own caterer and sound system. We arrived early on the day to set up and decorate the venue. We also stayed overnight in the farmhouse and had a wonderful breakfast with some of our guests the next day. It was a truly incredible day and we had so many compliments on the venue too! Thank you!

The Reid Rooms is an absolutely perfect venue, it looks flawlessly beautiful with no decoration but able to add as much as you want without taking away from its elegance. The layout is great, there is a comfortable area to suit every type of person and very spacious but doesn’t feel empty. The staff are incredible, going above and beyond to ensure the dream day is a reality. I can’t thank and praise them enough!

We had the best day, it was the perfect venue and we loved every minute. Particular thank you to Lucy, our coordinator. She was amazing, kept us calm and knew exactly what to do even with some last minute changes. We felt so comforted and everything ran so smoothly. Thank you for being so flexible and easy on the run up and on the day- it was a dream to have you as a venue and our guests loved it. We would recommend it to anyone.

The staff was amazing to work with, they were really polite and the place has beautiful views. The buildings are like fairytale.

We had a vision for our wedding and the team at the Reid Rooms helped us execute it so well. They were patient with answering our queries and were super flexible with how we wanted to do things. On the day, the event coordinator was also fantastic and supportive. We had such an enjoyable experience planning our wedding and the day went smoothly thanks to the team! The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous too.

We had our Wedding at the Reid Rooms in September 2023. Firstly, the venue itself is beautiful, with fantastic spaces for the ceremony, drinks reception, wedding breakfast and party.
The team were amazing from start to finish, helping us lease with our suppliers and easing the planning process.
The cherry on the cake was the help on the day - we were slightly worried about things running on time, and Jill was simply amazing - there's no other word for it. She was everywhere! The day ran perfectly because of her help. We had the perfect day at Reid Rooms!

Our experience with the Reid Rooms was amazing! All staff members were incredibly helpful - Jill and Corinne in particular. They made our day run smoothly and were very accommodating to some ideas that we had.
The ceremony room was beautiful and intimate — just what we wanted. The grounds were spacious and pretty which made for fab photos/videos. We particularly loved the fairy lights throughout the building.
There is a decent sized carpark and our guests liked how close we were to surrounding hotels.
