The Renaissance at Kelham Hall provides a stunning backdrop for your special day. This magnificent Victorian House remains an impressive landmark on the Trent Valley. Set within 42 acres of landscaped gardens and parkland, the hall is a fascinating example of Victorian décor, and our beautiful grounds are the ideal setting for superb photographs.

My dream wedding

So…my wedding, well it took me a while but I managed to find this place and this was THE place for my perfect wedding. Ive always dreamed of my wedding to be special and by sure it was. I spoke to someone called Kim for an initial viewing and it was love at first site the place is so big and very spacious. theres so much history there that it builds such a character to the place. To be completely honest the place is bare as in empty however, I believe it to be a positive as it means you can let your imagination take you wherever you want to go and be as creative with every detail for your dream wedding like mine. To decor layouts to a vast variety of any types of amenities you’d like to introduce. One key point is the whole way through I didn’t feel the stress of my wedding because Kim made sure that it was my last priority. Our events manager Kim made sure all our organisers felt comfortable and confident the whole way through. I would highly recommend to anyone who’s looking for their dream wedding.

So awful we cancelled

Unfortunately we absolutely loved the building but have been lied to continously since booking in July. On our initial show around we were guaranteed the bedrooms would be ready for April 25, only to be told later that they probably wouldn't be available due to delays and Tenders still going out for the works.

Communication is like pulling teeth and after chasing the contract it contained inaccurate information.

They also had told us it would be exclusive use, only to then be told at another meeting it wasn't.

Lots of false adverts to get you to book, then when dispute these say it was never in t&Cs.

A follow up call to try and assure us rooms were being made available was never put in writing, probably because they won't be able to deliver what's been promised.. not once but on multiple occasions. Also the team tell you one thing and the manager tells you another.

Please don't find yourself in our position, they are also refusing to refund our deposit.

It's absolutely stunning

My mom had a caravan and camping club and we can't hear it was so pretty I absolutely loved it the grounds are amazing we state that for two nights I think can we saw aeroplanes coming and going and it was so cool and we also went inside it's amazing I would recommend I love old building so this was right up my alley
