We have two large spaces to choose from for your wedding, our stunning Ballroom with natural daylight and large windows with views of the lakes, and the Ashville, with high ceilings and opulent chandeliers.
Our stately façade and opulent chic style create an elegant atmosphere throughout the hotel. Our facilities combine the charm of a bygone age with all of the convenience of the modern day. Thank you to The Ro Hotel
Thank you to the amazing team at the ro hotel. We booked our wedding back in 2021 with the old wedding planner Rowan. Rochelle then took over and she has been absolutely faultless throughout our wedding planning. We contacted rochelle back in may to see if we could move our wedding forward due to my father in laws ill health and was willing to move our whole wedding forward which was no easy job given how many guests & other wedding vendors we had. We stook with our original date in the end.
The team are absolutely fantastic nothing was too much trouble they transformed our wedding breakfast after the ceremony into something out of bridgeton. Food was excellent. I highly recommend The Ro Hotel as a wedding venue it is sure a picturesque venue in the lakes. You won't be disappointed. Many Thanks to the ro hotel team.

December 2023 wedding
We recently had our wedding at The Ro, our guests mostly stayed in the hotel for two nights.
Rochelle, Patty and the whole of the Ro team looked after us all brilliantly from the moment we booked the wedding. Everything was faultless.
have completed the vote for the Great Northern Wedding Awards and I wish them good luck with this. would not hesitate to recommend
The Ro as a wedding venue, as well as a lovely hotel to stay at for a nice getaway. All our guests have said the same too.
We will be back soon for another visit.

Elopement wedding
We had an elopement wedding at the Ro hotel and it was the perfect venue for what we wanted. The staff were all great, it was exactly the relaxed, chilled atmosphere that we were going for. Rochelle, who is the wedding coordinator there was always on hand over email leading up to the big day and during the day itself she was around to make sure it all went smoothly. The room we had was gorgeous, as was the food and the scenery was even better. Highly recommend for an elopement wedding or even just for a visit. Thanks everyone!

Beautiful venue
Had our wedding at the Ro in June. The whole from looking around to big day was simple and easy. The rooms and views beautiful. Food fantastic! Special thanks to Rochelle (wedding coordinator) who made everything easier as well.
Our special day went mostly smoothly and the staff tried their best to fix any issues.
Be warned they now have foreign tourist groups attending the hotel, this was something I wasnt aware of when booking and as someone who wanted a small in intimate wedding it was a shock to have coaches full of people pull up outside the venue during the main meal!
Also the ceiling in the main room was leaking on my guests! We had noticed it the night before the wedding but nothing was done to stop the leak before hand.

Amazing day
We recently got married at the Ro and our day was simply perfect.
Rochelle was our wedding coordinator and she was simply amazing. From booking the wedding to the actual day. Nothing was too much trouble and our day ran smoothly.
We stayed at the Ro suite, and the room is simply stunning. The view from those windows it something you never forget.
All the staff were extremely friendly and we were simply treated like VIP.
The food was stunning and all of our guests commented on the canapés and the wedding food.
We couldn't thank you all enough for making our day special and we can't wait to visit again on our anniversary

Wedding ceremony and hotel stay
This venue was awesome for hosting my wedding fantastic priced packages and Rochelle the wedding co-ordinater was amazing nothing was too much trouble for her and the staff at the Ro hotel. Me and all 16 of my guests had the best wedding day ever. Would definitely recommend this venue for your wedding or just for a stay in the lakes.

An amazing wedding venue and memories that will last a lifetime
We can not fault The Ro Hotel and all of the staff for the weekend they provided for us as a couple and all of our family and friends. Every single guest was impressed by how personal and attentive the staff were to their every need. We have had many compliments on the food on the day, with many saying it was the best wedding food they have ever had (special shout for the duck bao buns on the canapes!). The events team, Rochelle, Sophie and Phoebe ensured the whole weekend was perfect from start to finish. They were at hand for anything we needed, lots of friends have subsequently booked more visits to return. The bar staff were equally as attentive, Robbie and Jake were fantastic over the whole weekend. Our florist, photographer, DJ, singer and cake maker all complimented the team at The Ro with their support in organising and coordinating the day.
The location is fantastic with stunning views over the lake, the ceremony room provided a stunning backdrop for many of our wedding images. The bridal suite is ideal for the morning of the wedding, with ample space and lighting for bridesmaids (I had 6 of those!), MOB and hair/makeup teams. Breakfast was pre-ordered and brought up on the morning along with some bubbles at a time convenient for us. For our guests who wanted alternative accommodation there were many options within walking distance.
I would not hesitate to recommend The Ro as a wedding venue to anyone, it was a perfect weekend.

Amazing from start to finish!
We got married at The Ro in December 2023, having only booked 4 months prior to this! Rochelle (wedding coordinator) was amazing from start to finish, she was really helpful, came up with different ideas, always prompt and responsive on emails but most of all was very patient with a me being very particular! She was able to offer props for us to use to decorate the tables and ceremony room which obviously saved us a lot of money. We never felt pushed to spend more and her and her whole team definitely followed our lead. The day ran just as we had imagined. Rochelle, Phoebe, Sophie, Becs, Adam, Mike and every single member of staff were so attentive and really couldn’t do enough for us and our guests. I would really recommend The Ro as a wedding venue, whether it be intimate, extravagant or family friendly, The Ro really can tick all the boxes. We have already booked to come and stay in The Ro Suite in a few weeks time! Thank you all so much for helping make our day so special and just how we wanted it :)

Wonderful venue fantastic staff
We got married on the 9th July 2022. It was spectacular. Everything went perfectly the staff was all so friendly and couldn't do enough for us and our guests. Would highly recommend and can't wait to return
