We got married here at the Roseate following discovering this place for afternoon tea. We fell in love with the relaxing atmosphere, delicious foods, friendly staff, excellent service.

The events staff have all been excellent from the beginning, answering our many questions, organising food tasting, showing us around the hotel and helping with the set-up of the day. The staff have been responsive to phone calls and emails as well as WhatsApp.

The food during the wedding breakfast was exquisite. The chef and sous chef both did an excellent job and we had the opportunity to meet them both prior to the wedding day. Many of our guests commented on the lamb especially and tasty deserts.
The mocktails were also fantastic.

Parking is only the slight issue as they have no guarantee you can park your car there as it is first come first serve but we were ok for the day.

The staff at reception including the doormen are always so friendly and smiling and it makes such a difference.

The hotel rooms we stayed in were the bridal suite which was stunning. Large room with a grand bed. The television was a little old fashioned and the views from the room not the best. However, the bathroom including the rainfall shower with romantic lights and large bath were very nice. But mind your foot as there is a sharp corner around the bath you would want to avoid.

We enjoyed a cinema experience in The Roseate’s cinema theatre and it was a lovely post wedding treat for family and close friends.

We enjoy coming to the Roseate often and it is always a welcomed treat and now feels like a second home.

From the moment we engaged The Roseate Reading for our wedding breakfast to when we left the next day Beatriz the meeting & events assistant and all the staff were amazing. Ever detail was thought of and all staff we’re exceptional kind yet professional. Guests are still talking about the service we all received & of course the food was amazing. We stayed here the night before and the night of our Wedding where the ceremony and reception was held. It was nothing short of sensational.
The food in the bar, at Breakfast and at the Wedding reception was superb and at all stages the service was exemplary. I really do not think we could have picked anywhere better. We also had a beautiful room which we loved.
Our Wedding was run with non intrusive efficiency by the events team which meant it all went like clockwork and left us to just enjoy the day without concern about anything. It was a master class on how to run a major event.
