Charlotte and the team were just amazing throughout our whole planning and made the day exceptional wonderful. Nothing was to much for the staff. Our guests made so many lovely comments about the venue and staff. We used their florist and she was great to work with and willing to go with my vision for flowers.

We actually miss our visits to the vineyard and seeing the team there.

We felt so lucky to have the warm and efficient team at the Vineyard take care of our wedding day. We had a very small wedding party but the team treated the whole affair as though it was for a much bigger group, and they were wonderfully attentive beforehand and on the day. We felt very welcomed, and the friendliness and flexibility of the team was truly fabulous.

The whole process was perfect from start to finish. The staff and all the suppliers were fantastic.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights and had a celebration lunch for my son's wedding.

I cannot thank the Vineyard enough for the most wonderful of weddings. We visited several 4 and 5 star venues to hold our intimate personal wedding.

First impressions are important and sometimes the smallest of things make all the difference. To start the Vineyard was the only venue to offer us complementary tea or coffee during our initial visit. This told us immediately that our interest was important to them and a clear sign of the excellent service to come.... Another thing that impressed us, for a 5 star hotel, it didn't feel pretentious as some do, it was just relaxed elegance and gave the impression of a venue where our guests whom are all from different backgrounds would feel relaxed and at ease.

The Vineyard is stunning, due to Covid it was really important to us that people felt safe. Apart from the atmosphere and decor both of which were amazing we loved the fact we had our own bar area with separate bathroom facilities to utilise adjoining the main function room that doubled up for the ceremony and wedding breakfast. From the bar area there are also double doors that lead out to our own private patio space so it just flows so wonderfully well with our own space away from other hotel guests, something most of the venues could not match. The main function room is beautiful.

The inside space is especially impressive, the walkway from the main reception over a glass suspended floor above the cellar with its lighting is outstanding and creates such an impressive welcome to your guest's, it is beyond a wow factor. The huge painting on the back wall in of the bar adds to the impressive setting, I can honestly say the inside space is street's ahead of the other venues we viewed and what with our weather being so unreliable the inside space was far more a priority for us.

Service.... well what can I say, our wedding was postponed because of lock-down but this was no trouble for the hotel, they were so so accommodating. Because at the point of our marriage we had not seen many of our family and friends for considerable time due to Covid, because we had family travelling from overseas it was so vitally important that this would be everyone's day. I am both very fussy with a keen attention to detail and also super organised, nothing was too much trouble for the Vineyard. Nicole the wedding and events manager is an absolute diamond, nothing was too much trouble and every request was accommodated. Both Nicole and her team were extremely responsive and so keen to deliver our dream wedding and deliver our requirements whilst assisting with suggestions. The attention to detail and ensuring that at no point throughout did we ever feel stressed. Working with other suppliers like our florists and pianist and dealing with the logistics. Working with the head chef and sommelier to create a perfect meal with the most amazing wine's. We had such an amazing relaxed wedding and all our guests commented on how incredible the day was. People commenting on how they had never been to a wedding like this, how this was the best food they had been served at any wedding and how incredible the venue and service was.

We wanted a memorable intimate personal wedding that gave to everyone especially with the hardships of Covid and with the Vineyards efforts we succeeded. We cannot thank Nicole, her team and the Vineyard enough for working hard to create the most memorable amazing day, the best day of our lives. Thank you so very much.

We were fortunate enough to have our wedding at The Vineyard Hotel & Spa last year and what a wedding it was! Nothing was too much trouble for the Vineyard team and the whole day ran seamlessly. The ambience, food and service was impeccable - all of our guests commented on how fabulous the food was. When planning our wedding we were offered endless advice and support from the events team, which made the whole experience stress free and very exciting! They were very responsive and provided regular updates so we knew exactly what was happening at all times (which is what every bride wants when planning their special day)!

The Vineyard is simply perfect. We knew we wanted to have our Wedding here because of the luxurious, relaxing environment and the delicious food and impeccable service, but most of all, the attention to detail and little personal touches that make them unique.

Nicole and her team went out of their way to make sure we had the most amazing day- no ask was too big, and no task impossible. They were patient, attentive, well informed and extremely dedicated. Their experience hosting weddings and other events really came through and they were able to provide us with useful advise throughout and their list of recommended suppliers was a great starting point too! For anyone stressed about planning, having a reliable, experienced and well informed team like the team at the Vineyard really makes life much easier!

On the day itself, we had many guests, both local and from overseas, and the team ensured everyone’s stay was enjoyable and seamless. Many are planning their return already! Everything was so well organised and ran effortlessly.

These are just a few of many comments. In truth, it was all about an outstanding team at the Vineyard - the event coordination, chef, kitchen team, sommelier, bar and table service. It was like clockwork.

Added to that, the venue itself would be hard to beat. External pavilion, amazing bar, separate dining room and dance area. And not forgetting the bedrooms.

We chose the Vineyard because we are both great wine lovers and we felt it would be appropriate :) - and it definitely was! The wine cellar makes for a lovely backdrop and of course, there are loads of lovely wines to choose from.

The venue itself is gorgeous and offers everything a classy wedding location could need - gorgeous spa, pretty backdrops, great function rooms, yummy food, etc...

The real reason to recommend it though is the staff. The wedding planner Charlotte is just wonderful to work with and thinks of everything you hadn't considered! And the team on the day - from the hostess to the waiters and everyone in between - kept us on track and took great care of all our guests, always with a big smile.

We had a great day and would do it all again tomorrow!

I have to start with the people.. The people have made the place what it is. There is not a member of staff of which we encountered who did not feel like they were part of a movie. Their immaculate presentation, product knowledge, attention to detail and willingness to explore any and every avenue to resolve your query.. Honestly the most personable group of people I have encountered in one place. They take their time to listen, and understand, and offer support in any occasion.

The ambience is calm and relaxing, high class and elegant - surrounded by exquisite decor and art work, taking you back in time. The warm welcome at reception, the open fireplaces, the music, the list is infinite.

The food is the best that we have ever experienced, and with an evident passion for presentation, complimenting factors, and a love for their craft, their head chef, Tom, is nothing short of a perfectionist. Tom and his team delivered an exeptional standard of food for our event, which was an unforgettable culinary experience.

The Spa, suites and entertainment rooms all follow suit to the rest of the venue, offering immaculate touches of class and relaxation, art work and amenities.

Nicole was our main contact for our event/wedding at the venue, and I cannot commend their skills, professionalism and elegance enough. Nicole is a true asset to the Vineyard, and her experience shines bright.

We are already looking to plan our next stay at the Vineyard, as we are yet to find another location which comes close to the service of which we recieved.

We met Becky Povey at the Vineyard in January 2018 to discuss the possibility of booking the venue for the following month for our Wedding.
