Our wedding meal, booked just 5 days prior, was fantastic. The duck leg and starter were phenomenal, and the private room was perfect for our son. The friendly staff made the day stress-free and enjoyable.

From the initial venue look around to the day after the wedding, Nancarrow Farm and its team were a dream. Nothing was too much trouble, they were all friendly and so happy. The food was delicious, the accommodation was divine. We have had and continue to have so many compliments from guests about the venue and food. Cannot recommend enough.

I don’t think there are enough words in the world that could describe how magical our wedding at Anchor Barrow was! We stumbled across the Anchor Barrow campsite when attending a gig in Perranporth in May and a few weeks later we had booked our wedding for exactly 3 months time. We knew within minutes that this was our wedding venue and had the best feelings about it from day one! From start to finish Levi, Tony, Rachel and the rest of the Anchor Barrow team were a dream to work with. Nothing was too much trouble and you could tell that they cared about our special day as much as we did! The staff felt more like friends after getting to know them over the three months of planning - they were always smiling and going out of their way to make it the best day ever! Couldn’t thank them enough! If the stunning setting doesn’t sell you then the staff definitely will! The food was incredible! We had a roast on the wedding day and a bbq on the Sunday! The portion sizes were huge and the quality of food was the best! The staff went out of their way to cater for everyone and all of our guests left feeling very happy and very full! Our guests absolutely loved the venue, food and staff! Lots of them commented on how it was the best wedding they had ever been to and that goes to show how amazing the venue is! They couldn’t believe that we were their first booked wedding, you would have thought that this venue had been going for decades with the attention to detail and organisation that they had! The fun and food was spread over a whole weekend of celebrations and I couldn’t pick a favourite day! I had never heard of a weekend wedding before and I am so glad that we decided to do this! It meant that we could do everything that we wanted without having to cram it into one day! We were even allowed a few days before and after the wedding weekend to set up and pack down - this was a game changer and meant that we could spend even more time with our friends and family! Most of our guests camped at the site and it was so special to have all of our families and friends in one place! It allowed people to travel from all over the country to be with us which made it a lot easier - especially with the wedding being so last minute! The day ran so smoothly, it was perfection! Even when we were running slightly behind the staff sorted everything out for us and meant that we had absolutely no stress on the day! There were so many personal and special touches throughout the weekend that you wouldn’t get at other venues! We wish we could relive the weekend all over again and we can’t wait to come back as soon as Anchor Barrow open back up for camping! The memories we made at Anchor Barrow are like nothing else and we will be forever grateful! We couldn’t say enough nice things about the venue and the lovely people who run it! Anyone who comes across this wedding venue is guaranteed to have the best wedding day/ weekend ever! Thank you all a million times over! The Oats

The venue is absolutely stunning and Wenna Pippa, and Lauren are very professional and available at all times. My only criticism is that it was difficult to hang decorations as not allowed pins, tape etc! Finding the venue proved difficult so maybe more signs. Otherwise cant fault it.

Thank you for making our wedding such a success. We are both thrilled to bits with how it went and without all your incredible efforts it wouldn’t have been possible. All the team were perfect hosts, the food was absolutely fantastic.

Through a friend of a friend I heard about this very special hotel in Cornwall which has to be one of the top wedding venues in this country if not the world- you really have to experience a night their to know exactly what I mean! Nothing is to much trouble and the care taken in the planning stages is surely what stands this hotel of from the crowd- I am longing for our fist anniversary so we can return.

With its gothic hall, the alverton is a great alternative to a church. Nothing was too much trouble and there is always someone on hand to help what more does a stressed out bride need?
