Located in Atherstone, Warwickshire, Twycross Zoo is a dynamic alternative to a traditional wedding venue. The family-favourite setting features an array of conference spaces, beautiful locations, and incredible backdrops sure to enrich those wedding photos. You are welcome to celebrate your day, toasting your nuptials beneath swinging gibbons or sharing a meal as snow leopards lounge below.
Facilities and Capacity
The Windows on the Wild Room is Twycross Zoo's signature versatile venue. Fully licensed for civil ceremonies of up to 90 guests, the space has a private entrance and can be easily transformed to host the wedding breakfast. Following this, you can host your evening reception in the Himalaya building, which accommodates between 80 and 150 guests. Here you will find a private bar and plenty of space to dance the night away. In between each thrilling milestone stage, guests are free to explore the zoo's many enclosures, with over 400 animals of 80 species just waiting to be discovered—including the super rare Amur Leopard. For an added thrill, you can also opt to host your drinks reception in the Gibbon Forest.
Services Offered
With Twycross Zoo being at the heart of conservation, you will be pleased to know that the majority of profits from your wedding day will be invested right back into the zoo to ensure its longevity. For true nature lovers, the team are happy to organise an animal encounter as a unique guest experience. You can pick from penguins, giraffes, meerkats, or otters, a welcome treat during specific seasons. To top it all off, the in-house culinary team led by James Newton can offer an enticing array of exquisite dishes made using sustainable ingredients.
