We chose this venue because we wanted to serve traditional food that we enjoy at our wedding, and this was one of few places where we could have external caterers. The venue also included all the cutlery, crockery and tablecloths we needed, which other places didn’t provide. The hall is very versatile, with the ability to close bits off or open them up depending on the number of guests you have. It’s also very fresh and neutral decor-wise (apart from the coloured chairs), which makes it easy to decorate it to your taste. There is a garden to the rear, where we had some outdoor games for guests, as well as plenty of greenery to the front, where we took our wedding photos. The staff I communicated with were very friendly, and on hand to help the evening before the wedding, when the key to the room with the tablecloths didn’t work. I highly recommend this venue - it’s rare to find a place with capacity for 200 guests at this price point.

Hi Cassie, Lovely speaking to you earlier. We had the most wonderful wedding reception at Bristol Museum. The staff were all very cheerful and helpful, and made sure everything ran smoothly. The buffet was delicious and there was plenty of it for all our 300 guests! When planning our wedding reception at Bristol Museum, Cassie Penticost was so professional, organised and delightful to work with. She was also very helpful and calm when we needed to change the order of events close to the date. We are so pleased we chose to have our wedding reception at Bristol Museum. It is a unique and stunning venue, and many of our guests commented on how beautiful it was. Here are some photos. Rachel x

Thank you so much Cassie, Hannah and Mitch and all the staff I don't know the names of, including the crane men. We cannot say thank you enough. It was the most amazing evening. From the incredible help, support and friendliness of the staff, to the venue which had the incredible views over the harbour. But also the the room itself looked incredible, such an amazing space to party in. Your attention to detail made my life as a bride so much easier and totally took all the stress away from me, so we could both enjoy the evening. All this and more made the evening very special indeed. One we and our guests will not forget. Hannah and Mitch on the night were incredible. They obviously take a lot of pride in what they do.
