Our day was perfect- we arrived Friday 27th in the afternoon after a long drive up and a mare with our marriage license in the wrong area (oops), having our last meal and drinks the night before and settling in with a movie with my bridesmaids and my mum in our room. The morning of was grey and dull but the excitement made it as sunny s ever, we traced the hallway finding the elevator and moved up to the 3rd floor to our honeymoon suite (my other half had been in there the night before, and we had done a quick swap, made possible by my ninja bridesmaids), and we started to get ready. We put the TV on to have our first glass of bubbles with some lovely pastries delivered to the room, and by chance, The Addams Family was on, and the scene was where they were also getting married! What are the chances? My makeup artist came, and so did my hairdresser joined by my videographer and the magic was magic-ing! We clambered into my dad's car and made it up to the Blacksmiths Shop, my song was played and I married my best friend in the MOST beautiful surroundings. It was the best day. We returned to the Hotel and had the most lavish meal, so much so I thought I would need a nap! We finished the day on the chairs, dancing and drinking and went to bed finishing the best day of our lives.

We held our wedding here in September 2024. The venue and lodges where immaculate, the setting gave just the vibe we wanted for our ceremony. We lucked out with the weather and the outside decking was perfect for a small outdoor ceremony

If you want an outside wedding, this is a venue you really can't beat. There are hills, a Loch, activities, excellent accommodation for wedding party and guests alike, the staff couldn't have been more helpful and the food was excellent. Our guests all had a ball and are still talking about how much they enjoyed the weekend. We're very grateful to GAC to Richard, Harriet and the rest of the team for letting us have our wedding there and making it such a great weekend for everyone (even the mother in law!).

All the staff at The Hazeldene Hotel were more than happy to go the extra mile, for all of the guests. Nothing was too dificult for them to do. Made my wedding day special for me, my husband and all my family. Many thanks to all the staff.

My now husband and I got married at the Montgreenan Hotel on 21st January 2006. The experience was wonderful and the staff and management went out of their way to make this a truly magical day. Right from the first inital contact with their wedding co-ordinator to the actual day, I felt assured that their experience in weddings would only add to our day. They were able to advise and organise all aspects of the wedding, right down to the caligraphy on the place cards. The staff were very fiendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. I would strongly recommend anyone getting married to have a look at this hotel. They made me feel like I was the most important person in the world, something I think I would have missed out on if I had got married in a larger hotel. Many family members travelled from Ireland to attend the wedding and were all very impressed with the accommodation. Rooms were very much in the tradition of the Mansion House and very spacious. Special rates are also available for wedding guests booking accommodation. Once again thank you Montgreenan for the wedding of my dreams.
