The barn itself is amazing but the fact you get Joss and the team as well just make this place the best!! Being a little Ott when it comes to being organised I was a little worried when it came to planning but I’ve definitely met my match with Joss, there is nothing she doesn’t know or can’t help with from the second we viewed the barn nothing was too much trouble! The team on the day were all amazing. We always knew we wanted a relaxed day and that’s is 100% what we got. We couldn’t have wished for a better venue!! Thank you Joss and team 💕

After sacking off all the stress & hassle of planning a big wedding we decided to book a secret elopement, just the two of us… and it couldn’t have gone any better! Little Silver Weddings is truly something special. From our first planning zoom call to the day we drove home as Mr & Mrs, Lisa & Peter were AMAZING! As someone who stresses & overthinks EVERYTHING, I can honestly say I have never had such a relaxed and happy day! Lisa is so warm and her wedding planning skills are wizardry! She really did think of everything! They have assembled the best team of local suppliers, who managed to create our dream day in just over 3 months!! Stunning flowers, delicious vintage style wedding cake (my dream!) and the most amazing evening meal - all enjoyed in the most gorgeous of locations! Not to mention the best photographer on the planet, who made the whole wedding photos experience so relaxed and fun. As an autumn wedding I was a little concerned for the weather but it held & we were able to be married outside in the Victorian Grotto, overlooking the Taw valley. Such a magical place to say ‘I do’. Another brilliant aspect of Little Silver was the built in mini-moon, meaning we could really relax and enjoy our first few days as a married couple. We chose to stay in one of the shepherds huts, which were warm, clean & beautifully curated - definitely a touch above glamping! We especially enjoyed having a glass of champagne in our hot tub. So if you are thinking of eloping then absolutely give Little Silver Weddings a call - you will not be disappointed!

We had an amazing wedding here, the staff were great and the wedding planner was great.

We accidentally bumped into Anran farm on an online search and decided to visit the place. From the first moment we laid eyes on it though a lot of our fears subsided, stunning countryside!! The venue itself offered us the ability to accommodate a lot of our guests and at the same time provide different options for the multiple activities we wanted to have over the 3 day weekend - great kitchen area for luscious breakfasts, pool area in case the weather was favourable for cocktails and relaxation during the day, a lovely glasshouse for an afternoon/evening activity in case the weather turned out to be, well English, and a large grass area by the lake We were able to arrange alternative decorations in different parts of the venue for our guests over the multi-day event without making it boring for them or ourselves. The interior of the renovated property with Asian decorative twists - was very well balanced with great taste on decor and material used. Mike and Edwin did a fantastic job bringing the farm to life from what it used to be from living all over the world are well evident. Mike and Edwin also brought our (out of the ordinary) ideas for the event to life. They visualised with us how to transform the farm into what turned out to be a beautiful bohemian venue. Netha, who coordinated a lot of the wedding activities, did a fantastic job sourcing an amazing caterer (the food was exquisite), a great live band (above and beyond our expectations) and overall making sure things run smoothly during the events. She is a delight to work with. Overall, both us and our guests, had an amazing time throughout the weekend and we are very happy with our selection of the venue.
