Unique and Unusual Wedding Venues in South West London

We loved having our wedding drinks reception at Streatham Space Project. We wanted an intimate space that already possessed a lot of character so that we wouldn't need to decorate a blank canvas. After visiting SSP we knew that this was our venue. We also attended a comedy night at the venue to see another event in action. We had a half day package which included use of the kitchen, studio, and main bar. We utilised the studio for a dessert and chill space away from the main dancefloor and DJ in the bar area. Tali and the team were accommodating throughout the whole process and we're incredibly grateful. The drinks reception was wonderful and the SSP staff who were on hand to support during the event were very friendly and helpful with our guests. This hidden gem made a fantastic wedding drinks reception venue and I would defintitely recommend for any couples considering this as an option.

Our Wedding Reception at the William Morris! We had our wedding reception at the WMP on Sat 20th May 2023. Kit and the team worked their backsides off to deliver a seamless, laid back reception with an amazing atmosphere. We had a few ideas as to what we wanted to do as we were unsure what the weather would be like. The team bent over backwards to help us and gave us the perfection event. We had lovely sharing platters of hot food, a Prosecco reception and then an evening of drinks and dancing. We received so many compliments from our guests. The pub is a real gem. There is such a lovely vibe. The team are the ones that really made it though. I heard nothing but excellent feedback. They anticipated our needs, delivered every part with professionalism and made the whole event flow beautifully. Our guests loved the way we did our wedding. There was no waiting around or unnecessary formality, yet it still felt like a wedding. We didn't have to do much to make the venue look great as it already does. We had bits and pieces to make it our own and the team were there to help and support. I can't fault them. Excellent value for money and the pub has a soul, unlike a boring golf course with a standard 3 course meal and half a bottle of wine. For the same budget we were able to provide delicious food that the guest actually liked and a flowing pre paid bar. Result. We hope that the pub holds many more events like this. They deserve every success and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone and everyone. We will definitely do another party there as soon as we can think of an occasion! We held our wedding ceremony at Carlton House Terrace in September. We always dreamed of a “London wedding” And wanted our ceremony to be formal, yet different, with a relaxed but elegant twist. As soon as we walked in to the building, we instantly knew it was the right venue for us and what we wanted. The location was superb, with breath-taking views over London’s landmarks, which the guest loved! The staff and Event Managers were fantastic from start to completion and really cared about the day. The experience was really personable and we both felt that the two Event Managers went that extra mile to make the day completely seamless. Their passion and drive was recognised but not only us, but each one of our guests (who still make comments to this day about how wonderful the location and venue was!) The catering was fantastic, we provided afternoon tea for the guests before the ceremony, the food was exquisite and beautifully presented. All aspects of our catering were simply wonderful, from the waiting staff to the attention to detail with the food and presentation. The venue was flexible and accommodating, allowing us to be creative with our plans and dreams for the day. We fell in love with the venue, the people who work there and the building and I believe we found a hidden gem in one of London’s best and central locations. The guests loved reading about the history of the building, the stunning rooms, breath-taking views and brilliant staff. I cannot thank you all enough for a really special experience and a wonderful day we will never forget!

Having been married with just a few close friends at a Register Office, we wanted a fun venue at which we could celebrate with our friends and family. A pub was our preferred choice but needless to say, most pubs are unable to offer exclusive access because, rightly so, they do not want to alienate their regulars. By virtue of its City location, The Craft Beer Co. is not open on Saturdays, so was able to host our party. The manager was very accommodating as far as our specific requirements were concerned and the staff could not have been more amazing on the day. And, of course, there's A LOT of fantastic beers - but also a great selection of wines and spirits.

Just to say a huge thank you to you, Rafael and all the team at Chandos for helping to make our day so special. We had a truly amazing day, and it was great to have so much support from the team. All of the family and guests commented on how fantastic the venue was and how friendly and helpful the staff were. It was great to feel so looked after, and the attention to detail in the service and presentation was really appreciated. I've sent a link to the photos below. We got married at Parkstead House in September 2009, and would recommend it to anyone. Hidden away in the depths of Roehampton lies a fabulous building with amazing views across Richmond Park... Lorraine (our coordinator) was extremely attentive - which must have been hard at times given the million questions and ideas us Brides have in the build up to the big day! We had total flexibility to have our day exactly the way we wanted it and with just over 100 guests it was just perfect! Finally... if you are wondering what food to have, BOB THE HOG gets a big vote from us and all our guests (yum!).Thanks Parkstead for giving us a wedding our guests are still talking about!!

Easy to locate venue with adequate parking facilities. Beautiful venue/decor with clean closet facilities.
