With a history dating back to 1643, when it played host to the parliamentarians under Lord Fairfax during the battle of Adwalton Moor, this original grade 2 listed Georgian-inspired country house boasts real charm and enjoys the benefits of a recently developed modern annexe dedicated to hosting luxury wedding events.

Walton View is an original Grade II Georgian-inspired country house that is guaranteed to leave you and your loved ones in awe. Our enchanting glass ballroom with a central lantern allows natural skylight to filter in, creating a truly stunning and uplifting atmosphere. The play of light and the feeling of being surrounded by glass would undoubtedly make any event held there feel magical and memorable. The Walton View holds a capacity of 500 guests with our Glass ballroom combined with our rustic oak barn. With 6 acres of land surrounding this one of a kind venue, your photos and memories will be nothing short of one of a kind.Alternatively, you can choose to gather with your loved ones on the exquisite Italian-style 200-seat patio overlooking the grounds to ring in this new chapter. Home to 20 boutique bedrooms, including the stunning Signature Walton Suite for the newlyweds, you will not want to leave!

Everything about this venue was 10/10
1) the staff: the personnel is so professional and welcoming. My husband and I were assigned a wedding planner - Sophie - (FREE OF CHARGE!) and she was absolutely fantastic. She accommodated all of our requests, and even accommodated last minute changes seamlessly. She took care of all our vendors and coordinated every aspect smoothly! I was completely stress free on the day
2) the venue: this venue was just perfect. My husband and I travelled the whole of England trying to find the perfect venue and the moment we viewed this one we were lost for words. Everything about this venue gives luxury, classy and elegance. You can tell that a lot of hard maintenance work goes into keeping the venue spotless. We’re from London and all our guests were confused as to why we chose Bradford BUT the moment they arrived they were incredibly surprised and only had good things to say. We opted for the unlimited mocktails bar and everyone loved it - the drinks were of good quality.
Quite a lot is included in the fixed venue fee of 10k. You don’t really have to even decorate the hall because as part of what you pay (the 10k) all the tables come dressed with linen, cutlery, centrepieces, table numbers, florals! This is insane ! All the other venues we went to see charged extra ££££ for this! And because the venue already looks luxurious you don’t have to do much, like for example the floor is made of a beautiful white marble so you don’t really need a dancing floor. The walls in the hall have already been painted and decorated by the venue itself to have a luxurious feel. For any other venue we saw we would have had to pay extra £££ to achieve this look. We did however choose to have additional florals, for the high table. Walton View works in partnership with Tayibsweddings and we got a very good price for the look we wanted to achieve for the high table and ceremony room.
3) the rooms on site: the honeymoon suite will make you feel like a queen. It’s absolutely stunning and luxurious. The rooms for the guests that stayed on site were also immaculate. Wow. Every aspect was just perfect!
We took the train there and back and it was fairly straightforward from London.
