When we began our wedding venue search, our main criteria were:

- good proximity to airport for international guests
- ceremony and reception at the same place, without the need to exit / reset
- no preferred supplier limitations
- kitchen on site (no need to hire externally)
- natural materials, like wood and brick, barn aesthetic
- indoor space we'd be happy not to leave in bad weather
- can have live music with no formal noise limiter
- experienced & supportive team
- budget

Westerham Golf Club delivered all of this and so much more. As soon as we visited the venue for the first time and spoke to the team we were confident we found our venue.

We were assigned a contact person straight away who answered all of our questions by email and phone conversations and was always unbelievably helpful and quick to respond.

In the lead up to the day we met our wedding day coordinators who we were reassured were very on the ball. We had a lot of personal details and touches throughout the day and never felt that we had to remind any of the team about them, they all understood the vision and knew all the intricate details of the day. They delivered them all without fault.

The venue on the day looked absolutely stunning. The exposed brick and beams in the Valence Suite make this feel like a cozy but expansive barn conversion, but with the benefit of the adjoining rooms, wrap around balcony and excellent facilities of the golf club. The views are spectacular and the tree-lined drive up to the venue really sets a great tone.

Throughout the day everything ran like clockwork, guests commented that the food was incredible and all of our suppliers worked with ease with the staff and facilities.

The team set up all our personal and homemade things for us and packed them all away again for easy collection the next morning - we are so so grateful for this!

The flow of the space is fantastic, we had our ceremony in the Eleanor Suite, then did confetti outside before re-entering the main space where the drinks reception were laid out and musicians performing. The bar area, sofas, dance floor and balcony were perfect for the canapes and drinks reception. We had photos on the grounds as well as in the lovely rose garden at the front of the venue. The dinner set up was there from the morning and had a real wow factor when guests first saw it. While Eleanor Suite was empty the chairs were quickly cleared and this became a breakout space where we laid out board games and guests could relax if they didn't want to be dancing with the band.

We got married in November and had a lot of evening guests, so having a space with plenty of room, without anyone needing to go outside (in case of cold/rain) was key and the venue was perfect in this regard. In the end we had a lovely clear day and guests really enjoyed being on the balcony.

I hope this review is helpful in helping other couples choose their venue. For us it was a dream come true and we cannot thank the team enough for delivering a perfect day!

What can I say.. this venue was love at first sight for both me and my husband. Westerham is a fantastic and dreamy venue to host you wedding. The views are amazing from every angle, and the natural wood interior is so beautiful.

Our guests have not stopped raving about how beautiful the venue was and how beautifully decorated it was. We used @Fairytale_functions who added the extra sparkle to make the venue look even more magical, however, the venue speaks for itself and is amazing with or without additional decor.

We opted for self catering and maximised the guest list for the sit down. Even with 220 guests plus vendors, the space was still large enough to hold everyone comfortably and still gave off the cosy intimate feeling we so wanted.

Gracie was our event manager and she was brilliant! In the lead up we bombarded her with questions and she always went out of her way to support us. No question was too silly. My amazing wedding planners @lmevents03 were impressed by venue staff and their flexibility and professionalism.

I would strongly recommend Westerham.. once you view you wont be disappointed!

Venue is lovely and staff are amazing. They truly made my dream wedding reality. Gracie, Ryan and Philippa made the day a dream.

This venue was perfect for us, we knew that we wanted a more intimate wedding and as soon as we viewed this venue the layout was perfect and flowed where the guests wouldn’t feel lost or scattered with beautiful views to top it.

The whole planning process with the venue was stress free from our first meeting up until our last.
The team were fantastic and always on hand for when you needed them prior to the wedding and on the day.
Thank you to Emma and Ella for helping us organise and put together the day making the process a lot easier for us as well as answering any questions we had leading up to the day so promptly and to Jake for your hard work and support on the day making sure everything ran smoothly even up to the tiny details.
It was the most special day that we will cherish forever.

Our day couldnt have gone better if we tried.
From going to Westerham for a wedding showcase to then getting our date booked, and bringing our vision to life was plane sailing. Gracie was our events manager and couldnt have been more helpful if she tried. Nothing we asked for was denied and if there was an alternative option, we were told what was available.
Westerham is a beautiful venue and all our guests thoroughly enjoyed their day.
We were running slightly behind as an important item had been forgotten by someone, but the guys reassured us that it wasnt a problem and everything would get underway.
Although myself and my husband didnt make any time to eat the canapes, we heard they were really tasty. The wedding breakfast was fantastic and the wine was enjoyed by all.
For our evening photo opportunities, one of the Westerham guys took us and our photographer to the perfect spots on the course and myself and George enjoyed the time by ourselves to take the day in.
Thank you to everyone at Westerham for making our wedding day, one that we wont forget. Now, is there any chance we could make weddings a 2 day thing??

From the initial meeting we booked in with Westerham Golf Club we felt well cared for and in safe hands. My wife and I were pretty demanding in terms of asking questions about anything and everything about the wedding planning but the staff were always on hand to help. In terms of the day itself, Eloise, Jake and the whole food & beverage team were nothing short of absolutely brilliant. Made everything look so easy while being welcoming and professional throughout, without them we would not have been as relaxed as we were on the day! Alongside Eloise on the day, Gracie was great as our wedding co-ordinator, and it really helped to have a proper catch-up meeting a few weeks beforehand to put us at ease.

All in all we felt both the planning and day itself was a 10/10 and so huge credit has to go to both the staff and venue for making our dream a reality.

Our wedding was a day we’re never forget and we have to thank the amazing staff at Westerham for our experience.

If you are lucky enough to be allocated Emma as your wedding planner you have nothing to worry about she knows exactly what’s she’s doing and she will take all the stress away for you!

The venue is beautiful breath taking views and all my guests complimented the food!

We loved having our wedding here. The staff were really helpful in helping us plan the day and handled any little hiccups on the day itself. The food was lovely and the venue itself gorgeous. We had a lot of help from Emma leading up to the day and Brad running the show on the day. We're really happy with our choice to get married here.

We knew the minute we got to Westerham it was the venue for us. From the romantic drive up through the tall trees, the views of the stunning golf course, to the heigh ceilings, real fireplaces, and natural light. We wanted our wedding to feel like a big family Christmas and Westerham captured that for us. All our guests loved it too and the separate ceremony was perfect to turn into a kids soft play dream after we'd got married to keep them entertained. Emma was incredible from the very start, nothing was too much and she helped me to navigate the whole thing which was so valuable. The team on the day were also fantastic, great service and all our guests commented on how lovely everyone was and how great the food was. Jake really made sure our day ran perfectly even when we ran behind. It was truly perfect and the day was everything we had hoped and dreamed it would be. I would like to say a massive thank you to everyone involved in making our special day so perfect. From the pre wedding booking and organising with Cheryl and Bobbie, the on the day care from Elouise and Brad and all the chefs, barstaff, waitresses, everybody. We were so well looked after at this beautiful venue and made to feel special. Going out on golf buggies to take photos was one of the many highlights. I strongly recommend. From Lee & Ruth.

Westerham was a fantastic venue for our wedding, lovely ceremony room with great views, open space in the front and the balcony, attentive staff from beginning emails, throughout arranging everything and on the day. Backdrop for photos was great and couples pictures on the course were great. Food was delicious, we had a LOT of guests compliment the food. You have to get decorators separately but means you can really put your own touches on the decoration. We had an absolutely amazing day.

We fell in love with the venue on our first visit with its views of the golf course and so did our guests. The weather on the day was a bit chilly but that did not matter as with the vista you feel you are outside.
Emma, Brad and the team were fantastic and helped every step of the way to make our day special. The food and service was impeccable and we did not have to worry about anything on the day.
We have to say that the Westerham Golf Course offers great value for money compared to other venues we viewed and we would highly recommend it for a wedding.

We booked our wedding In August 2020 thinking the pandemic would soon be over.. how wrong we were.. but we were very lucky as all restrictions were lifted 2 weeks before we got married on 1st August 2021 and it was such a perfect day!

We met Cheryl who is the wedding coordinator on our first visit and throughout the process she was just amazing, Cheryl makes the process so easy giving forms for what info she needs and dates to return it . I feel I asked so many questions but nothing was too much trouble for Cheryl and her calm and organised approach meant I really had nothing to worry about!

The venue itself.. if I am honest I had not considered a golf course for a wedding and booked to view on an off chance and on arrival instantly just knew it was the perfect venue. It is really bright and the grounds provide such stunning wedding pictures! The large room is ideal as we had tables one end, dance floor in the middle and then the sofa area which suits all age groups. I prefer a more minimal look and so this venue was ideal as you could then dress how you liked. We booked additionally the smaller ceremony room to have our ceremony in as I just loved the backdrop it provided for photos when signing the wedding register!

The wedding day itself the staff are so organised and help with the set up of the venue in the morning. The food and drink were outstanding and we had comments from many guests on how lovely the food was. They went above and beyond throughout the meals topping up drinks and little touches such as hot plates when food is served really give this venue the edge in my opinion. We had a meeting with the team a few days before the wedding which is really great and just puts your mind at ease talking through how the day will run. Elouise was in charge on the day ( we learnt that this was one of her first experiences and honestly you would not have known she ensured our day ran perfectly!) She was so friendly and ensured the meals were served in a timely manner to all. Corey was another team member we would like to call out as being really helpful in allowing the day to just run so smoothly.

We used Bowes hire for decoration and Martin Dye for DJ both of which I would highly recommend. Personally for me I found using suppliers that know the venue to be really reassuring.

Thank you again to all the staff, we honestly cannot recommend this venue enough, we look forward to visiting the venue for a Sunday lunch in the future to reminisce about our wedding!

We had a wonderful wedding at Westerham. Both ourselves and our guests were impressed by the ambience and decor of the venue, and the two managers on the day were excellent and attentive in their roles.

Our events manager Cheryl was very accommodating throughout the time leading up to our wedding, especially taking into account the postponement we had due to Covid restrictions earlier in the year and after liaising with Cheryl we were able to move the date to October of this year. We had an excellent day and we will have a memory to cherish forever.

I can't say anything bad about Westerham Golf Club, the day went perfectly without any hiccups that I'm aware of. They decorated it beautifully with what I has provided and it was everything I wanted and more. The staff were super helpful and willing to go above and beyond. Communication was fantastic and service was incredible. Food was amazing both the sit down dinner and buffet.

I would 100% recommend to anyone!
