We have finally recovered from our big day. We just wanted to send you a message to say a huge thank you to yourself, Anthony, Louise and all the team who helped our wedding day run so smoothly!

From booking with you back in August 2016 to Saturday itself you have always been there to assist and guide us, nothing was too big or small.

The organisation of everything was perfect from the timings on the day to the service, the friendly staff, the fantastic food and drink and accommodation! We love the White Swan and the rooms both looked brilliant!

We can't wait to come back and celebrate our anniversaries up there!

Each and every member of staff at the Hotel played a part in our special day. From the moment we attended the wedding fair, through to booking the wedding and the moment we left as husband and wife the staff could not have done more for us. "We had to change the wedding date and the venue and team accommodated this with ease. They went above and beyond to make sure our day went without issue especially a contingency plan for the unexpected rain.
The team were fantastic for accommodating our dietary requirements as we had diabetics, coeliacs and vegetarians in our group and the options and variety available for our guests was inspired and its excellence was commented on by our guests.
The experience and dedication of the team was visible and evident in their professional and friendly approach to their duties to create a fantastic day for us any our guests. Valarie (event team leader) was very approachable and able to meet our individual requirements and any requests we had she saw they were carried out and if compromise was required it was discussed in a professional and friendly manor. Valerie and her team were great at accommodating us, as my husband spends lots of time out of the country we arranged somethings in advance of 18 months and somethings were more last minute, the team adapted and worked hard to make sure our dealings with the venue and the team were spot on.
Friends and family still comment on the day and the great time they had visiting the White Swan at Alnwick .Its historical interior created a spectacular and appropriate setting for our day and complimented the military uniforms worn by the groom and best man. The physical location was a point of interest for our guests as they visited from all over the world and experienced the venue as a holiday hotel as well as a wedding venue and were delighted with their service and time sent there.

The hotel just worked with us every step of the way, no detail was too detailed, no email or phone call went unanswered. They delivered a bespoke event for us going above and beyond. I just wanted to say a huge thank you. The whole day was everything I wanted and more (except for my abundance of nerves). You were a great help from start to finish. We've spent a year setting it up and although I found it difficult I am by no way happy it's now passed. I wish I could relive the day again. You and your team made it magical, that's all we could have asked for. You are truly a wedding wizard my dear.

We were lucky enough to hold our wedding in the White Swan on the 9th November 2013. The staff are second to none and nothing is too much trouble for them. For example, the manager took time out to talk to us as the wedding planner was leaving 2 days before our wedding, and he wanted to reassure us that it wouldn't affect our day. The Olympic Suite is stunning - pictures don't do it justice. The day ran without a hitch and the food was amazing! It certainly didn't taste like the usual mass produced food we've had at other wedding venues. Our guests have commented on how nice and comfortable the hotel rooms were, and how comfortable the beds are.
As we said before though, the major selling point for this hotel is the staff. We had amazing service from the hotel staff all weekend but a special mention has to go to Jannick, who is the bar manager and acted as our MC all day. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He made sure everyone was happy, without being 'in your face' and was just an absolute star. Our guests have also said how he helped make the day for them.

Now it's time for honeymoon!!!

I wanted to drop you a line to thank you and the staff at the White Swan for making our wedding so special. Jannick was brilliant, I know its his job but he does it so well. I phoned the hotel to say we would be dropping all the stuff off on the Saturday evening when we arrived Jannick had been informed and was there to help us unload the car. He chatted to us all, was very complimentary on how well organized the boxes were, and on our homemade items. He even offered a drink with Steve when he booked into the hotel later that evening. Reception once again had been extremely efficient and friendly, as they have been on every occasion I have called in or phoned. On the day everything went so smoothly, the room looked absolutely stunning, little touches like a sprinkling of scatter crystals along the front of the top table were noticed by myself, the little additions above what I had asked for were brilliant. A huge welldone. Timings were spot on and plenty of space for our guests to be seated in the castle suite inbetween. 5 guests did not show up on the day, when I realised I asked Christina to let Jannick know, purely to rearrange the seats. Straight away we were offered 4 bottles of wine for the top table. Something I am sure the hotel was not obliged to do but very much appreciated by us. Jannick going round and ensuring everything was ok was also commented upon by our guests.Once again during the Disco when more seats were needed they were promptly provided.We could not fault the hotel from the delicious food to the tremendous and hard working staff and would not hesitate in recommending you all.

You have both been very helpful & made everything so easy from the beginning. The meal was perfect & the room was stunning, especially with the Christmas tree! You made me feel so relaxed & made the day & night go very smoothly.

We just wanted to write & say a big thank you to all your staff for the hardwork and making our wedding on Saturday 13th April so special.

From the moment we arrived & indeed since we booked with the White Swan last year, everything has been perfect, the food was fantasic & many of our guests commented on the quality particually the chouz pastry swans & evening buffet.

The staff were all very professional & helpful all day.

We honestly couldn't have picked a better reception venue & Jannick must be praised for his hardwork as master of ceremonies.
