Welcome to Wilde Lodge

The tree-lined driveway welcomes you into this romantic landscape and immediately slows your pace and relaxes the mind. Surrounded by fields the lodge, the long barn and our safari tent are all perched above the river Teme and set against a back-drop of dark green woodlands beyond.

We wanted to create a place that allowed you the time to enjoy your celebrations. Mid-week weddings are available for up 2 days and weekends are 3 day hire, so you can sink into the surroundings and enjoy the peace & time to be together.

We hire the lodge to you and leave you to plan the wedding celebrations to your wishes. We have a list of recommended suppliers we have been using for the past 8 years. They know the site and we have everything in place to ensure your site and these suppliers run smoothly on the day. Our unique selling point is that we have it all written down in our wedding guide so you don’t have to worry about any of the planning, you can just use our tried and tested guide to help you plan your celebrations here at the lodge.

Exclusive Use Of Wilde Lodge Includes:

• The main 6 bedroom house (which sleeps 14), fully furnished and stocked with bed linen and towels, the usual house amenities, a large catering BBQ, outdoor chairs, festoon lighting and a full stocked wood store.

• Wedding License. Inside the site has been licensed for ceremonies in the dining room (up to 16) long barn (up to 90), and the open barn (up to 120). Outside the entire site has been licensed for ceremonies so you can choose where you want to get married and the options are endless.

• The Long Barn. Beside the main house there is a long barn which provides a fabulous space for your wedding ceremony, or an evening meal or as a bar and dancing area later on in the evening.

• The Motte & Bailey Mound sits just above the river Teme and is a great wedding ceremony space for those wanting to get married outdoors with the most spectacular views.

• The Safari Tent. Nestled between the old barn walls is our bespoke dark green safari tent with a 16ft solid oak bar, heating, toilets and a capacity for up to 120 guests seated or 150 standing.

• The open barn. A huge open sided barn that can take up to 120 guests seated and more standing. With hay bale seating and a fabulous view to the lodge and woodlands beyond. This is a great wedding ceremony space, but can also be used for dancing, a bar area or just somewhere to chill out and take it all in!
