Located at the heart of the award-winning Green Flag and Green Heritage Wirral Country Park, Merseyside, The Sidings is a 3-acre area of short-cut, lush amenity grassland, ideal for weddings. At the site's southern end, there are stunning views across the Dee Estuary to Wales, while mature trees protect the northern end.

The site has its own car park, toilets, showers, and kitchen. It is for use by recognised community groups or organisations only. All groups will need appropriate insurance coverage, and groups undertaking certain activities on the site as part of their visit will have to provide risk assessments and method statements. Groups organising additional daytime activities (as well as major events and wedding receptions) will exclusively use the site and be charged the appropriate day rate. Small community groups and schools will be expected to share the facility with other similar groups. With direct access into the park and onto the Wirral Way.
